IDF and Shin Bet: Two coffins of hostages' remains in Red Cross custody

Almost Heaven

Well-known
Two coffins containing the remains of hostages have been transferred to the Red Cross and are being transported to IDF forces in the Gaza Strip, according to an update from the IDF and Shin Bet.

After completing the identification process at the National Center for Forensic Medicine, in coordination with the Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, IDF representatives have informed the families of deceased abductees Amiram Cooper and Sahar Baruch that their loved ones have been returned to Israel and officially identified.

In a statement, the Prime Minister’s Office expressed the government’s sorrow, saying it “shares in the deep grief of the Cooper and Baruch families, and of all families of the deceased abductees.” The statement reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to returning all abductees and holding Hamas accountable to its obligations under the ongoing mediation framework.

“The Government and the entire Israeli Defense Forces are determined, committed, and working tirelessly to return all of our deceased abductees for a proper burial in their country,” the statement said.

“We will spare no effort until every abductee is returned.”

I wonder if there will be any repercussions if the bodies show signs of torture? We know many of the women were threated horribly.
I noticed there was only one female hostage at the end and was sickened to realize probably many of them died of pelvic infections, UTI—>kidney infections, or physical injuries from rape.

It's sickening to even imagine the horrors so many have to endure at the hands of evil in this world.
It's even more heart wrenching to know that many suffer and die in unbelief and yet there will still be no reprieve for them in all eternity.
