Houthis meet for joint viewing of leader's speech and attacked

Almost Heaven

Well-known
Israel's attack on Sanaa, the capital of Yemen, yesterday targeted a conference hall where a meeting of the Houthi government ministers was taking place. The senior officials were gathered to watch a speech by the Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

The IDF reports that the Houthi Chief of Staff and Defense Minister arrived at the conference hall that was attacked. According to military sources, they are still gathering the results of the damage from the attack and information about the officials who were present.

The IDF adds that the attack was successful and was carried out according to plans after 'crucial intelligence was received.'

Media outlets in Yemen affiliated with Houthi opponents reported earlier today that Ahmad al-Rahawi, the Prime Minister of the Houthis ('Government of Change and Construction'), was killed in one of the Israeli attacks in Sanaa.

Yemeni media outlets aligned with opponents of the Houthi rebels reported early Friday morning that Ahmed al-Rahawi, the Houthi-backed Prime Minister, was eliminated in an IDF strike on the city of Sanaa on Thursday.

The Yemeni channel Al-Jumhuriya, which broadcasts from Aden, cited sources who reported that al-Rahawi was killed while in an apartment in the Bayt Baws neighborhood of Sanaa. The newspaper Aden al-Ghad also reported that he was killed along with several of his associates.

Al-Rahawi had served for about a year as Prime Minister under the Houthi administration, which lacks international recognition. His role was primarily administrative, rather than military or political.

The IDF Struck a Facility That Hosted a Gathering of Senior Military Officials and Additional Senior Officials of the Houthi Terrorist Regime in the Sanaa Area

On Thursday, the IAF, guided by intelligence from the IDF Intelligence Directorate, struck a facility that hosted dozens of senior officials of the Houthi terrorist regime.

Among the senior officials present at the site during the strike was the Houthi Prime Minister, Ahmed Al-Rahawi, who was eliminated in the strike, along with additional senior officials of the Houthi terrorist regime.

At the facility were senior officials responsible for the use of force, the military buildup of the Houthi terror regime, and the advancement of terror actions against Israel, along with other key Senior Houthi officials.

The strike was made possible by seizing an intelligence opportunity and completing a rapid operational cycle, which took place within a few hours.

The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat posed to Israeli civilians, just as it operates and will continue to operate in the Gaza Strip and all additional arenas.
