If they had any dirt at all on Trump, I'm fairly certain they would have used it by now.
THAT stands out like a sore thumb.
Think of Russia gate. They had to manufacture evidence. They would have used anything from Epstein if they had it.
The "files" have a long and large chain of custody. At any point stuff could have been added or redacted by one of MANY people handling the files before they landed on Pam Bondi's desk.
But nothing- crickets.
Which says IF anything on Trump suddenly magically appears, it is pretty suspicious, and NOT something that Trump was actually guilty of.
If Epstein made his money by blackmail as has long been alleged there should be a client list as long as ones arm, but nothing.
The idea that Epstein might have had a side gig working for the CIA/FBI might be true- and the same people who manufactured evidence in the Trump Russia gate conspiracy might have been nervous enough to make that list disappear completely.
Or there may actually be US security concerns related to letting that list out in public.
The lack of that list is suspicious.
But if Pam Bondi and the President are covering it up or misdirecting attention- they may have good reasons they can't share.
Pam engaged in a long and involved chat about Epstein's pedophile past and evidence on her desk about that the other day on Fox news with Fox news reporter Peter Doocy while completely ignoring Peter's repeated questions about Epsteins CLIENTS not his particular sex history. That misdirection leads me to think they are covering up but I don't think it's due to misconduct on Trump's part simply because if that was there, it would be used already.
What would Trump and Bondi misdirect for?
#1 answer in my mind would be national security
#2 possibility is that someone close to Trump in some way is on the list and the administration would prefer not to make that public for whatever reasons- personal or political.
