Hamas refuses to disarm, seeks continued control in Gaza

Almost Heaven

Well-known
Hamas politburo member Mohammed Nazzal stated that the terrorist organization intends to maintain security control in Gaza during an interim period and cannot commit to disarming.

In an interview with the Reuters news agency from Doha, Nazzal said Hamas is prepared for a ceasefire of up to five years to allow for reconstruction, but insisted that future guarantees must offer Palestinian Arabs “horizons and hope” for statehood.

He defended Hamas’s recent public executions in Gaza, claiming those killed were criminals and that “exceptional measures” are sometimes necessary during wartime.

The remarks come days after the first phase of the ceasefire agreement was implemented, with Hamas releasing all living hostages but only nine of the 28 bodies of deceased hostages. Nazzal claimed that Hamas has no interest in keeping the remaining bodies and cited technical difficulties in recovering them. He added that international parties such as Turkey and the US may assist in locating the bodies.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Office responded to Nazzal’s remarks by reaffirming Israel’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement. “Hamas is supposed to release all hostages in stage 1. It has not. Hamas knows where the bodies of our hostages are. Hamas are to be disarmed under this agreement. No ifs, no buts. They have not. Hamas need to adhere to the 20-point plan. They are running out of time,” the statement said.

There is no way Bibi actually thought Hamas would disarm.
I don’t believe that for a second.
He knows the enemies too well by now.
I kind of thought Bibi was like a parent with a kid that insists on doing something stupid, and finally lets them in order to learn why the parent is right.

Witkoff isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Kushner is another kind of problem, and Trump may well have seen the advantages of letting those 2 and the entire rest of the UN (minus a few sensible countries) learn a lesson about Hamas.

It just seems through all the years Trump has talked about Israel and been such a friend to Jews, been very close to Bibi (ie, deep conversations), saw up close and personal the absolute destructiveness of US Jews being so liberal Democrat in the voting booths, talking about the horror of watching the evil of October 7th
That he would not just go into this naively.
Regardless of all the rhetoric of ”peace” stuff he says to the press

Kushner I have no idea, I can’t get a reading on him other than whether he just wants to make a name for himself in politics.

Kushner is a business partner at times of George Soros and Peter Thiel, he is often at Davos, he and his wife Ivanka are on the Davos young global leaders list, and he seems drawn to 2 things: money and power. He is making money hand over fist right now due to his connections with the Saudis and Qatar. He likes to stay in the background, not drawn directly to the spotlight.

Trump is extremely loyal to his family and they to him. In his first and now his second term he uses them to advance foreign policy such as with Kushner in the Middle East with connections to the Saudi Crown Prince and of course the Qataris.

He also used Tiffany's new husband and father in law in Lebanon. That's starting to heat back up too.

Witkoff is a real estate and golf buddy from New York, a friend Trump trusts but not someone who has the best judgment. Or understanding of Russian stuff.

These are the ones Trump is using to get things done in Gaza and Lebanon as well as around the Middle East in general. Trump wants deals to go ahead quickly, so his teams know this and may cut corners to get things done.

Although he likes and trusts Bibi and vice versa (in so far as they can trust each other as leaders of separate countries) he has to leave a lot up to his team.

Stuff we can see and evaluate that Witkoff and Kushner have been part of:

The Gaza situation - the lack of understanding of how Hamas functions. That Hamas will immediately return to power in Gaza using their contacts in Egypt and Gaza. Perhaps the Trump team pushed too quick for a deal, and they hoped it would work instead of ensuring immediate punishment for infractions of the deal.

Kushner used a lot of the same stuff for this deal that he did in the 2020 plan, but they took away the rights of Israel to annex the West Bank area aka Judea and Samaria. Kushner is Jewish, so is Witkoff, but they are not pro Israel or pro Netanyahu.

Witkoff is rude and abrasive to Bibi- demanding meetings on Shabbat, other stuff. Pressure tactics.

Tiffany's inlaws in Lebanon: The recent Israeli attacks on Hezbollah, rebuilding in areas they are supposedly free of. Another failure to realize what Hezbollah does. Yes her inlaws are Lebanese, but they also have family there and may be subject to pressure and manipulation from Hezbollah.

Putin and Russia: Another Witkoff fail. There was some press at the time (probably not so much in the USA) about Witkoff misreading Putin and Putin thinking Witkoff was able to promise more than Trump had allowed (real estate guy, wants to please the boss, get the deal done and part of the deal is to bring Putin to a meeting with Trump face to face). Lack of Russian understanding, Witkoff implied stuff according to leaks later and that put Trump into a less than ideal bargaining position when he met face to face in Alaska

A lot of moving parts. A lot of (in my opinion), misplaced trust in amateurs or family.

All the voices that were bashing Israel for 'genocide' have suddenly become quiet, either they're total hypocrites or are blind in the extreme. It's ok for Palestinians to murder Palestinians? Is Greta the Goblin going to sail to Gaza again? 😀

This double standard is a sign of anti-Semitism in the End Times, means the Lord is coming soon. God Bless All :)

I thought it was funny, Jack Hibbs sermon today was basically plagiarizing your post ^ here.

Great minds???? I haven't heard him today. I should go listen.

But it is a relief that i'm not totally out in left field here.

I also think that God used Trump specifically with his Qatar relationships to get those hostages free. Because if Trump hadn't been close to Qatar, those hostages would still be in captivity.

Qatar may take some orders from Iran, they def funnel money to Hamas from Iran, and from other Muslim groups, to Hamas but for a brief moment in time they paid attention to Trump's focus on getting the hostages home.

This "peace plan" may be falling to pieces as we chat, but God got those hostages out, and if Trump hadn't been so close to Qatar, it might not have happened.

God uses all kinds of people in all kinds of ways!

OH WOW!

The part where Hibbs is talking about Kushner and Witkoff starts around the 1 hour mark.

You weren't kidding Amethyst!!! I'm still watching, but had to get up and tell you how right you are!

I loved his point about how Marco Rubio should have been involved, NOT Witkoff or Kushner! They sidestepped the proper chain of authority.

Something else that has bugged me is the lack of Huckabee. Maybe Jack will cover it.

So 2 solid Christians - Rubio and Huckabee are trotted out when it seems that the Christian vote has to be given a bone, but when it comes down to the actual deal making, Huckabee and Rubio are nowhere in sight.

The 2 people who would stand for Israel biblically are sidelined. While the 2 people who have no business doing the state dept business, no experience, and have a track record of going against Israel to reward Hamas are sent in. The 2 people whose finances are irretrievably tangled up with Qatar. The same Qatar that stands FOR HAMAS.

I know this sound terrible, but let them have it to do what they want. They will never achieve anything without international support, and I don't see international support for a bunch of murdering savages, except maybe Iran. What nation is going to invest in that cesspool? Gaza will be just a mound of rubble as long as Hamas is in charge, and as crazy as it seems, the Gazan people seem to want Hamas.

I think it's time for the west to shift to a purely defensive position, forget about peace with people who are bound and determined to kill you. Either go in and wipe them all out, or just let them wallow in their rubble. There comes a time when you just have to wash your hands of the situation and let it go. No aid, no nothing. Just like a alcoholic relative who refuses help over and over again. Until they hit rock bottom there will be no change!!

Too much logic but the world does not care about logic.

Gaza is the land of Judah which is Jesus' tribe and has much spiritual significance. This being said, it is no surprise the land is hotly contested and probably plays a big role in the angelic conflict.

Something else that has bugged me is the lack of Huckabee
I watched a video the other day of Huckabee being interviewed in Israel. He said, this ambassadorship was the only position he would accept when it came to re-entering politics.
He said Trump has a habit of firing people over Truth Social or X, so he keeps a tab on that to see whether he "sill has a job or not."
I thought he was halfway joking but maybe not, they may not have a close relation at all.

I think Trump respects Huckabee but he doesn't use him as much more than a Christian figure head or window dressing. If Trump was serious about him as the ambassador he would be going thru Huckabee as the actual ambassador to Israel and Marc Rubio as Sec of State.

I appreciated Jack Hibbs whole message, it was great. I also appreciated his courage in pointing out the problems and the way that the US stood in the way of Israel finishing off her enemies. And dividing the land.
