I don't know if the filibuster could actually be removed. But if something like that goes down, all history changes before our eyes I believe. One way something like that could open the doors to so many things not thought possible. That'll be nice if it actually happens...

Yeah, well first he needs to get those rebellious Republicans into line. Some of them, especially those from Pennsylvania (and also Kentucky) seem to be more interested in pacifying Democrats in their districts rather than ensuring MAGA Republican initiatives get passed.
House Speaker Mike Johnson said Republicans plan a major January push to codify up to 150 of Donald Trump’s executive orders into law. The effort aims to make policies permanent, focusing on affordability, healthcare costs, and living expenses.
Yes of course that would be the concern. But if dems get back in presidential power and can do away with it, they will. Reps not doing it would not guarantee dems won't. But it would likely guarantee they will. If they are willing to cheat (demonstrating lovers of self to a whole new level), and they can do away with it, their instincts at this point would insist, they must.If the filibuster is removed, we can be sure the demonrats will take full advantage after they cheat themselves into power again.
We have another 20 to 45 years or so perhaps prophetically in the eschatology sense for the age of grace to complete.
I understand. It is very risky business, amen. But I guess the point i'd make is that if it is removed, it would be a whole lot more difficult to cheat i believe. And unfortunately, the left has pigeonholed themselves of cheating themselves into a corner. This is just my opinion (or more so: my consideration) but I believe it is possible for the Lord to offer Israel attention grabbing events as a potential heads up concerning their 70th week. God does not want any to perish. When we get to Ezekiel 38 and the tribulation, its going to produce a lot of death. If God is winking at Israel, exegetically where they left off (possibly the book of Esther) as a hint/reminder would potentially be possibly to something from what might be the last book canonized and even if not, its super primary place in the post exilic Megillah--as its leading book, could imply the federal head default book status representing the post exilic period hands down.If the filibuster is removed, we can be sure the demonrats will take full advantage after they cheat themselves into power again.
True brother. This "might" only be the case if we see some serious political quicksand this year. Which we may not. One reason along the way that caught set off my "irony" alarm was in 45. Some cartoons actually emerged during that period like a meme many enjoyed. It was the Roadrunner cartoon where the dems where the Cayote and Trump the bird. Perhaps a famous cartoon is just about as far as it could exegetically go (pun intended). What is ironic though is that Trump got elected in 2016. What is more ironic is that Biden got more votes than Obama. And what is ironic on steroids is that Trump was elected president again...lol.An awful lot of "ifs", brother. An awful lot of ifs. And nothing in sight on which to hang anything of substance.
Agreed. Something like this could go on and on and on for quite a while. It would be nice to be in a season where really hot political action takes the country truly by storm. However, it might just be also instead that we are in a political underwater race where everything is super sluggish and evolves perhaps into something maybe even for decades to come. I'm hoping for the former. But understand it may well just be the latter. And some generation down the road get perhaps a fuller benefit--if it remains patriotic in nature.Yeah, well first he needs to get those rebellious Republicans into line. I agree that it has never looked so true for a dem collapse. Except for one BIG thing. One big thing that messes up the entire calculus-- Republicans. If there is any way to save the Dems' bacon, if there is any way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, if there any way to blow the best opportunity the Republicans have had in decades to cement themselves as the party of the people and for the people, the Republicans will find it.I would not be straight forward if I did not admit some of this kind of view is coming from a purely hopeful sense that the dems get what's coming all up in front of us...lol. But I guess i would also say it never looked so ripe for dems to collapse entirely as a party before either. Neither of which have to be of Israeli import at all. Amen. And merry Christmas.![]()

I don't mean for this to be circular argument dear pastor. But that is why i would somewhat hitch things to Israel. Taking outside the US soap opera. If victory can only be in the hands of the reps...we are doomed. But God. Because the middle east seems to be waking up to His callings. I'm hopeful that means that the camels surpass the donkeys and elephants in the race. If so, in my mind, the only way there can be a victory if there is one even for a short while is God. We as people could not orchestrate such a way to turn the tide of evil...and simultaneously prosper beyond our own soul's ailments. I say this more humbly than perhaps controversially. But this would not be God save the queen. But perhaps a country that could help the world in a better direction as well as grant stronger Israeli footing to boot. To be seen. Amen.I agree that it has never looked so true for a dem collapse. Except for one BIG thing. One big thing that messes up the entire calculus-- Republicans. I hear you Batman. However, I would suggest in one way (although well meant, sincere, and perhaps in ways also wise) that if the left were the left of the 1950's it would merely be a dumb game of political "who is the cat and who is the mouse." But the left has increasingly been overtaken by the far left (why New York has a communist mayor). Beyond that, the left has also been taken over by globalism (easy evidence is how dems use immigration--like Europe--to reshape the actual country vibe). Our schools have evolved into woke training centers (up till recently). Which paved the way for medical child mutilation. The left interest to enlarge government breeds massive crime and fiscal value deflation as "normal." The left had for decades championed the murder of the unborn through the Supreme Court of the land. Thankfully, we do see trends that counter radical leftist thought. But take Trump out of the game and what would we "normally" be left with? Most politicians don't have the level of narcissism to stand up to widespread world class criminal syndication.Cement constitutionality and lawful moves.....great. Cement revenge and punishment of liberalism and the absolutely ludicrosity (my word).....not so great. I fear that this MAGA and right wing movement will be severely overturned with true revenge and punishment once the rabid dogs of the left get back into power.
