God Resists the Proud
James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Those who are proud do not like true Christianity with free grace. Why? Because they want to be worthy because of who they are or what they do, not because of what Jesus did!
