Three IDF soldiers were moderately injured and two lightly injured after a mortar fell near Nirim in southern Israel.
The soldiers were evacuated to the hospital for medical treatment. Their families have been notified.

In one kibbutz, a rocket hit a vehicle, while in another kibbutz, a rocket landed in a packaging plant and caused heavy damage.
The owner of the vehicle which was hit is a member of Mefalsim's security chapter, and he and his colleagues were in the yard when they heard the siren. They did not manage to run for shelter, and laid on the ground during the siren. They were not hit by the shrapnel which damaged the home.
