Yeah, it's really disturbing to read about help being blocked to human beings in desperate need in this area. But Kem, you make a good point, the Lord is the best provider and despite the circumstances.

I think the most helpful things we can be doing is really lifting this situation up to the Lord in fervent prayer on behalf of everyone affected. And of course send whatever helps we can through the avenues the Lord shows and as He prompts. This situation is certainly exposing the truth of God's Word in that mankind doing things man's way often is a very poor answer. But God, in His grace and mercy can work far above circumstances and despite fallen human nature. And, as His Church, He pays attention to our prayers and we can be attentive to His prompting of the good works He may have for us in this situation.
