FBI raises alert nationwide

The FBI's counterterrorism and counterintelligence teams are on elevated alert nationwide, a bureau official told Fox News' Peter Doocy Saturday.

The move comes as U.S. operations against Iran continue and tensions escalate across the region.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said she is "in direct coordination with our federal intelligence and law enforcement partners as we continue to closely monitor and thwart any potential threats to the homeland."

I feel bad for those who need to travel. I feel worse for those who have to work, yet are not getting paid.

Me personally, I will most likely never fly again. My last flight was in 2019. I had too many “challenging” flights in both helicopters, and airplanes while in the Marines. I think I have only flown 3 times since retiring in 2007.

I hope to never fly commercial again, and maybe not privately, although crop dusting or an ultralight . . . hang gliding isn't an airplane, it's a big 🪁 :tap:

For the right job, if it were for the right reason, if there wasn't an option to go by ground or water, I'd fly small charter, privately, or military/DoD. I'd just as soon not, and have my next flight one-way home to Heaven :rapture:

Im assuming you are referring to me, which is fine. I dont always express myself properly. I never think the big one (another 9-11 size event) couldn't happen here. Its just not going to change how I choose to live.

If we don't live life because of what the terrorists did or might do, they win. I refuse to let them win, so I will continue to live life, however I choose. Ditto giving up my faith because of persecution (or threat of such) at the hands of anyone. I refuse to give up The Great Commission because God commands it. God is stronger than any agent(s) of satan :tap:

I should of added this to my last post when I quoted you.

We were trained heavily in situational awareness, always looking at your surroundings, and who posed a threat. Its funny how the older I get, the more people I see as a threat, when in the past, that group was much smaller.:):prophet:

As we get older, we LOOK like better/easier victims to more nefarious people, whereas when we were younger, fewer would consider us as suitable targets  So, the group of people, who are threats to us, is larger than it used to be [sigh]
We know who they are, but they don't know that we know . . .

Still need to get that manual of arms done for rollators :big grin;

My reaction to 9/11 was sacred, Whatever the terrorists did or they might do, I refuse to let them win, but I'm moving on, my faith has been strong and God told me not to give up and I can agree with him, I refuse to give up, and God is stronger and he is the master of Christianity he is a lot better than any agents that Satan has.

I know sleeper cells are here and yet I never think about them as I live out my life. I fully trust God will either keep me and my family safe or allow us to die and go straight to him. My husband is always aware of our surroundings and I am always looking around when out in public because of any crime that can happen, not specifically terrorism.

I see the growing number of Muslims even in rural areas of NH and it breaks my heart how we have been invaded. Then I continue to pray and focus on how to share Gospel tracts in my day to day.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world

Again, I know there are some here who want to kill Americans.

Remember after 9/11 everyone to include me thought we would have more devastating terror attacks. It was non stop fear mongering by the left press. Only a few instances happened. Hundreds were stopped, and that was with older technology than what is used today.

Yes, some will become radicalized while here legally. Some are deranged wannabe terrorists who will act out as a lone wolf.

I could probably find a stat to support this, but Im guessing an American citizen is hundreds of times more likely to be a victim of everyday violent crime, than a victim of a terrorist.
Some fo get radicalized, but some have come here with intent and their ideology imbedded in their minds.
Indeed there is always "fear mongering".
But as believers "we have not been given s spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
While the fear mongering is thrown out there, its important that we use discernment because when there is truth to something that could bring us harm, there is no need to fear because we have an Almighty God Who is oir "ever present Help in times of trouble". Psalm 46:1
Remember the pandemic in 2020. It was a real threat to our health, that was potentially life threatening.
It was important to take precautions to keep from being exposed to it, but there was s lot of fear mongering that caused people to believe everything they heard and it even impacted the church causing division over disagreement on the understanding of Romans 13 and closed their churches, while others took the risk of being charged with not complying with the law, but it made no dense that churches were being forced to close their doors while bars and strip clubs were permitted yo remain open. Discernment.
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves."

"But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men"
Acts 5:29

The way the pandemic was framed caused many to make irrational choices because of fear, that later resulted in harm to millions all over the world.
Did the choices make people bad people? No. But because of the way it was framed fear caused many to do what they thought was a good thing but in many cases resulted in tragedy.
That is just one example of how we need to keep proper balance in our responsibility to discern what is real and not allow it to cause us to make irrational decisions, and to always stick to what the bible tells us over what men say.
We cant ignore what is real. But we also cant cause fear of a potential threat overwhelm us either. We must trust God at all times.

Analogy:
If we hear there is a wild fire burning out of control in our area, that is a real threat that should be taken serious. We should be prepared in case the fire reaches our homes be ause it could potentially be life threatening.
We may hear its burning towards our direction and being described as an "inferno".
We know wildfires are not "infernos", latin for Hell.
But the "fear mongering" choice of descriptive words can influence some to listen to the instructions from the fire department to leave the threatened area, otherwise some wouldn't leave and could result in tragedy.

The threat of terrorism is real. We know that.
We dont have to live in fear over it especially as believers we trust God.
All of us can be faced with unexpected death in one form or another. It doesnt have to come from terrorism. But because of the resurrection and as believers we know what happens after death as we immediately are in the presence of God
"Absent from the body is present with The Lord"
So we have no fear over death no matter how it happens

After this lengthy comment, and I apologize for it being you dont care for reading long posts,
I just want to sum it up in saying, its very important to not disregard a potentially real threat but at the same time not let the real threat consume us with fear, yet always be prepared for anything.
Just like when a famine was coming in the account in Genesis 47.
Famines are serious because they can result in many deaths. It was a real threat but God instructed Joseph to prepare for it so it wouldn't impact people with tragedy.
If Joseph had ignored God and not prepared and be ready for the famine, many would have died.
But using the wisdom and instruction God gave Joseph saved many lives when that famine came.
We dont have to be afraid.
A terrorist attack could occur, and it may not.
But certainly the threat is real and we would want to be prepared whether it occurs or not, but not take it to an unreasonable level either.
Precaution doesnt mean irrational
Being over zealous in precaution can only bring on unnecessary stress and take our mind off of God by being too focused on threats of any kind

"You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You."
Isaiah 26:3

Bottom line....
Trust God in all things.
Our God is bigger than any problem
There is no problem God cannot solve.
There is no threat God wont shield us from

Whenever anyone experiences fear setting in
Read Psalm 91 for assurance and confidence in God's protection.

Stay focused on God and the things of God
Stay focused on our Hope that cannot be found anywhere but through our Lord Jesus

The threat is always real, the fear, not so much for all the reasons you alluded to.

The threat is always real, the fear, not so much for all the reasons you alluded to.
I respect your opinion. But to some fear is a real problem. Even with Christians just the news headlines can bring on anxiety and anxiety is fear of an outcome that hasn't happened.
Some things may cause fear in some people that may not effect others at all.
To say not all the things I alluded to are not relevant to fear is an opinion that doesnt necessarily apply to others who really struggle with fear in things that may not be relevant to you or someone else.
The examples I gave are not set examples that effect everyone and may not be an issue for you or for me, but may be for some, and that is the reason I used those examples.
My reply to your comment was not intended to imply that you have a problem with any of the examples I used nor to form your opinion for conclusion in what is considered a threat or what causes fear in some cases
But what I was getting at was a broader coverage on the topic of threats and fear addressing anyone who may read what I posted.
As I concluded in my post with the bottom line, that was the point I wanted to get across to anyone reading the post on threats and fear and giving those to God and to trust Him in All things, including any potential threat of terrorism.
Im sorry for the confusion brother
I do always respect your thoughts and opinions whether I may agree with them or not. 🥰

I think you misread my post, or perhaps I didn't make it clear. You listed reasons we need not fear (as Christians) - thats what I alluded to

From your post:

“Bottom line....

There is no threat God wont shield us from

And as I explained some things I listed may not affect everyone but may be a real problem for others who struggle with general fear.
Thats why I broadened the scope on the things I alluded to with regards to fear

My dad welded a gun mount onto his walker so he could enjoy target practice as usual when his health was failing due to age. I always got a kick out of that.

Trump: We Know Where Most of the Iranian Terror Cells Are Located – “We Have Our Eye on All of Them” (Video)

On Thursday evening President Trump was asked about the suspected Iranian sleeper cells.

President Trump told reporters his administration knows where they are located!

Trump Warns Of Iranian 'Sleeper Cells' As Canada Is Accused Of Harboring 239 Regime Operatives

After President Donald Trump warned recently about Iranian “sleeper cells” potentially operating in North America, Canadian opposition lawmakers are accusing their government of allowing operatives linked to Tehran’s regime to remain in the country.

Trump said Wednesday U.S. authorities were monitoring Iranian networks believed to have entered the United States in recent years.

“I have been (briefed), and a lot of people came in through Biden with his stupid open border,” Trump said in response to a question from Fox News’ Peter Doocy. “But we know where most of them are. We’ve got our eye on all of them.”

The remarks came amid growing concern among Western security officials about Iranian intelligence activities targeting critics abroad.

In Canada, senior Conservatives say the government has failed to act against Iranian regime officials despite identifying individuals linked to Tehran.

Deputy Conservative leader Melissa Lantsman, immigration shadow minister Michelle Rempel, and Pierre Paul-Hus, Conservative Québec lieutenant, called upon the Liberal government, in a statement released in Ottawa, to table a plan within one week to take immediate action to stop Iranian regime activities in Canada.

“The Liberals have known for years that there are hundreds of Iranian regime officials in Canada, 239 of whom have had their visas“ canceled, the lawmakers said.

They added that government officials told a parliamentary immigration committee recently that only one person has been deported so far, citing legal obstacles, including asylum claims, the absence of direct flights to Iran and privacy protections.
“For years, the people of Iran have expressed concern about the presence of these individuals and their children in Canada,” Shariatmadari added.

“A clear example is Mahmoud Reza Khavari and Marjan Al-Agha, who are known embezzlers,” she claimed. Iran Wire reported on the case in 2022. “What is striking is that an economic magazine that introduces entrepreneurs has presented the son of Mahmoud Reza Khavari — the former CEO of Bank Melli and a convicted criminal in Iran — as an ‘inspiring businessman’ in Canada and has described him as ‘a young leader.’”

“But these days we are seeing more of these individuals,” Shariatmadari added. “Their presence has become more visible, and they are organizing gatherings under the slogan ‘No to War,’ while expressing support for Hamas and Hezbollah. Meanwhile, they remained completely silent about the killing of Iranians.”
Exiled Iranian journalist Mehdi Ghadimi, who now lives in Canada, told Fox News Digital that individuals linked to Iran’s regime often arrive in Western countries through several different channels.

“Some arrive as students, academics or ordinary immigrants but were already connected to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps through family ties or ideological affiliation,” he said. “They often try to identify activists and critics, so those individuals can face legal or judicial problems either in Iran or even abroad.”

Ghadimi said another category operates primarily through financial networks tied to the regime.

“Another group includes people who used to be members of the IRGC or other state institutions and later enter countries like Canada as private investors,” he said. “When someone brings several million dollars for investment, it raises questions about where that money came from.”

He added that wealthy business figures who move capital abroad may also do so with the approval of Iran’s security establishment.

“If someone is moving large amounts of money out of Iran and investing abroad, it is very difficult to do that without the approval of the IRGC and the security institutions of the Islamic Republic,” he said.

Ghadimi also pointed to past corruption scandals involving Iranian officials who moved large sums of money overseas, including the case of Khavari, who fled Iran after a major banking scandal and later settled in Canada.

The criticism comes as Canadian police investigate the disappearance of Iranian dissident Masood Masjoody, a mathematician and critic of Iran’s clerical leadership who vanished earlier this year in Burnaby, British Columbia.

We might get a few wannabe terrorists attacks, but highly doubtful they will be on any overseas payrolls.

The dem media will continue with this montage of scare tactics hoping to cause the republicans to turn against Trump.
(y)
When we take time to thank God that since 9/11 we haven’t experienced any nationwide attacks (airspace shut downs) we get more perspective on today’s threat of terror cells.

There’s so much that we’ve been spared from, and God has blessed our counterterrorism LE.

Obviously, the liberal media has an agenda to stoke fears.
