Smart thinking to take out Iran's radar in the first round.

In an air war, that's always going to be the first step. To gain air superiority and to own the skies one must take out the air defense systems and then the opposing nation's Air Force must be subdued. In the case of Iran, there is no Air Force worth subduing to a foe with state of the art aircraft such as Israel.

Knowing air defense systems are vulnerable, they'll often be used briefly and then turned off. Then back on briefly. A country with a more advanced military will have overlapping and redundant air defense systems and different systems to cover different altitudes and distances. Iran's air defense system is/was very simple and easy to neutralize.

Second exploding the grave of the dear leader who set off this whole revolution would be such a nice touch, but I'll take a nearby hit to his grave and enjoy the moment! It would have been nice to have pulverized his remains and sent them far and wide. Resting in pieces!

Is this prophetic?

Not quite yet. But it's moving towards a fulfilment of the Elam prophecies in Jeremiah 49: 34-39 and Ezekiel 32:24-25

Ezek 32 from v 17 to the end is describing a complete prophecy that starts in v 17. It's all about people that cause terror. It's really interesting and it's one of the key passages to look at right now due to the players involved. I can go unpack that later on another thread if you like.

The Jeremiah 49 bit 34-39 is also important

Because according to the wording of Jeremiah 49:36 here in NIV

I will bring against Elam the four winds
from the four quarters of heaven;
I will scatter them to the four winds,
and there will not be a nation
where Elam’s exiles do not go.

We see that the 4 winds from the 4 quarters are equivalent to 4 winds where there are no nations that Elam's exiles do not go.

That verse suggests a coalition of nations will come against Elam (the southwestern shores of Iran going up into the eastern side of Iraq from the Tigris river bank up into the spine of the Zagros mountains which are the eastern border of ancient Elam.)

I was listening to Bill Salus unpack this from his book Nuclear Showdown In Iran, and he has enlarged his teaching on it since publication. His thoughts are that a coalition of nations would attack Iran, another verse mentions foes plural so I think he's right.

So what I expect to happen IF THIS IS A PROPHECY FOR TODAY (and I think it is, but that is a matter of opinion)

We should see a growing coalition of nations who want to deal with Iran and stop her nuclear missile threats.

I was hoping someone better qualified than I am would respond to you, but I think I can give you the down and dirty version. Whenever Israel is involved, watchers (us) take heed. What I am seeing:

1.) Israel's "allies" are proving more or less undependable. Israel knows now the antisemitism on the left, and if those people are in power, they can expect to be stabbed in the back. This puts them in a precarious position should the rapture happen, and the majority that is left in the world are all against Israel. It will be easy to see how they will fall in with the beast government.

2.) Gog/Magog prophecy: We are seeing a firming up of the coalition that will come against Israel in this prophecy. God is going to do the utter smackdown of this coalition, but there are conditions that need to be met first. One is that Israel needs to be dwelling in their land in safety. Right now, Israel is doing what it takes to bring peace to their country.

3.) Rose already mentioned the prophecy about Elam, which basically refers to the section where all the nukes are currently being kept in Iran, and Israel is at this very moment bombing Iran.

4.) Because there is also a prophecy about Damascus being utterly destroyed overnight to never exist again, anytime Israel starts targeting sites in Syria, near Damascus, I wonder if this is going to be "it." Damascus basically becomes uninhabitable. I suspect that there are nukes/dirty bombs being stored there by the terrorists, and Israel blasts them out of existence (but that is personal speculation and not mentioned in the Bible.)

5.) AND... this one is the most exciting to me. We are seeing secular Israel starting to see that God is working supernaturally on their behalf. They are seeing their protection as miraculous. I think that we are seeing the very beginnings of dry bones coming back to life.

VERY useful map. I need to add in a map from Amir that was posted here a while back, because it was the military sites to keep an eye on and quite a few of the missile sites are down in the Elam areas. I did notice that the Iranian media this morning mention "Ilam" which is Elam. It's a province of Iran today.

I read about the female pilots and yes that does add salt to the wound as you say.
