Exclusive: Sen. Markwayne Mullin Says ICE Arrested ‘Dozens’ of Illegal Alien Truckers with ‘No Name Given’ on CDL

An Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid in Oklahoma — cracking down on illegal immigrant truckers — resulted in the arrest of dozens of illegal aliens who had “no name given” on their licenses and did not speak English, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily.

Host Mike Slater mentioned the ICE raid completed in the senator’s state of Oklahoma, resulting in the arrest of dozens of illegal immigrants. Mullin said he was “very involved” with it alongside Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem as well as Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

“Because this was a joint process with the Highway Patrol, very close to these guys, all of them. So this was in the works for quite some time. This all started because of a certain truck stop where … some interesting information had come in from other trucking companies,” he said. This was set up right off of I-40 coming from and from New Mexico into Oklahoma.”

“And their driver’s license were either given out of — their CDL license — were either given out in New York or California, and under the name, all of them said ‘no name given,'” he said. “So it had a picture of a driver’s license and their name was no name given. Every one of them, New York, Oakland and California were exactly the same. They couldn’t speak English, and we arrested 70 illegals. That was the first day.”

I'd noticed in recent years that quite a few 18 wheelers were having a hard time driving between the lines. It's kind of disconcerting when you're passing one and notice that the truck has partially moved into your lane. This has happened to me a lot and is probably related to what must be large numbers of illegal aliens who really don't have the skills to be driving anything on our roads let alone the biggest vehicles.

Up here we've had a lot of recent immigrants (legal though) who are from India and Pakistan, a lot from the Sikh areas. They pay a bribe to East Indian driving instructor places that are supposed to train and test these new drivers. Ability to read road signs in English, understand the rules etc. After a while our govt insurance corp noticed that a lot of these guys were behind a rash of accidents and there's been a crackdown. Some of these East Indian driver ed and licensing places were shut down.

It's still happening a bit because the young immigrants want to please their bosses so they bend the rules about time on the road, speed, etc, but the RCMP have been putting pressure on the employers and that has helped some more.

Lots of different factors up here. But it is improving.

I live near I-44 which is a major corridor from Oklahoma to Illinois and I can tell you driving near some of these big rigs, you are in danger. Almost every time we get out we see trucks upside down, wrecked and burnt, parts of the interstate are frequently shut down because of semi wrecks.
Sadly many deaths and injuries.
I'm not against the honest hard working, legal truckers, they are are the backbone of our economy moving goods.
I haven't driven a commercial truck in many years but I've had a class A CDL for almost 35 years and I can tell you things have changed greatly for the worst.
I applaud Oklahoma for doing what they can to get these 'drivers' off the road.

Now go hard after the companies who hire them!

Yes, we've seen issues too. When I pass a trucker I pass very quickly (and safely) to keep distance.

On another note, polite and responsible truckers are out there and are a pleasant contrast.

American truckers as a rule are excellent. They get well trained and almost all of them do a good job.

For some reason there are now many hundreds of poorly trained (if they're trained at all) illegal aliens driving the big trucks and they are a serious danger to all of us.
