Another shooting at another mall. Before I continue, gun control is not the issue, the issue is young men/boys who illegally carry guns and have no clue whatsoever about how to handle conflict, and no control over their emotions. I blame fatherless homes, the "experts" will claim racism or capitalism. The end result is it is now dangerous to be anywhere that young men congregate. I know that is a bold statement, but facts seem to point that way. The cell phone used to be the status symbol, now it's a gun, easily obtained from stealing from cars or bought on the street. How does a parent not know their child leaves the home with a gun? (rhetorical)

You see it everyday, usually in urban areas, but it happens all over the nation. There is no deterrent, if a juvenile then they walk pretty much free, if an adult just a slap on the wrist, released with no bail in many areas, free to continue their terror on unsuspecting citizens.
There's an old saying, if nothing changes, then nothing will change. Only putting people in prison for long periods will work. Police must be free to stop and frisk at will, and yes, even racial profiling if needed. People cannot be shot and killed every day because of what some call racism. Public safety has to come first. No matter what color or race, we have to regain control of our streets.
