Empty Your Garbage

Goodboy

Just waiting for the Rapture at this point!
Empty Your Garbage

Picture this.
There are two garbage cans.
One is empty the other is full.
You have a piece of paper to throw away.
When you put it in the full garbage can it keeps falling out.
When you put it in the empty garbage can there’s no problem at all.

Picture this.

There are two people.
One has no built up unforgiveness the other has years of built up unforgiveness.
A small issue arises.
The person with built up unforgiveness cannot deal with the hurt of even the smallest issue and get angry.
The person with no built up unforgiveness can deal with the small issue with no problem at all.

Hopefully you can see the parallel between the two examples above.

In the first example all you need to do is to empty the full garbage can and it is now able to easily deal with the piece of paper. Also, it is able to deal with a large amount of trash without being overwhelmed.
In the second example all that needs to happen is for the person with built up unforgiveness to forgive everyone and they will now be able to easily deal with small issues. Also, they will be able to deal with large issues without being overwhelmed.

We are daily taking in (dealing with) trash (issues) that cause us hurt.
Forgiveness is God’s way for us to empty (release) our trash (issues).
Otherwise the trash (issues) continues to build up until our garbage (capacity) is full.
Once our capacity is full, even the smallest issue feels like a major problem.

Empty… Your… Garbage…

Goodboy :)
I like the way you use illustrations to make your point.

Lol well keep it up, I hate things that sound or are written with fancy pants Shakesperaen literature.

Me too. :)
Actually if I read something that is very long it is hard for me to get the point. I actually lose interest if someone does not get to the point fast enough for my small brain. *maisey*

I will take this opportunity to tell you something.

Most of what I write comes from the Holy Spirit. I am not saying all of what I write does, because sometimes what I write is incorrect. What's incorrect comes from me. I can't always tell which are from the Holy Spirit and which are from me, so I welcome kind responses from the forum letting me know what is incorrect.

Now why do I say that most of what I write comes from the Holy Spirit? Because I do not study or even read the Bible as I should, yet I have been shown things that I have not even heard Pastors teach. I have been asked a few times if I am a Pastor or have gone to some Christian training. The answer is not only no, but I most likely don't read the Bible as much as most on this forum do.

I have actually asked God why me? Why would he give me such a gift? The only answer I can come up with is that I am humble and will just pass what I receive along. I share both the Gospel with the unsaved and any knowledge I receive from God with Christians. I expect nothing in return, meaning I could possibly try to make some money with what I wright, but have refused to even try.
If it sounds like I am bragging, it is just the opposite. I am saying that it is not me you should thank if you like what I write, but the Holy Spirit (God)!

I hope this actually encourages those who read this to know God can give you great gifts if you are willing to use them. Don't just ask God for a gift, but plan to utilize the gift he gives you! I stated on another thread that I asked God for the gift of tongues and never received it. Well actually I believe that is because I have no need for the gift of tongues and most likely would not have used that gift if I received it. One of the great uses of tongues is in prayer which I am really bad at. I do pray every night, but my prayers only last about 5 minutes and are not very intense. So the gift on tongues would be wasted on me.

So in a nutshell, like anyone I do appreciate the praise, but really all praise goes to God. Who the heck am I? 🤔
