Does your church preach on Last Days at all and/or Israel?

The church that our daughter, son in law and the 5 granddaughters go to - about an hour and a half to 2 hours driving from here does.

They do a YT broadcast of their Sunday sermon so I attend (George too before he left for heaven and a far better church up there) from my living room. The sound quality is pretty bad so I have to crank it way up but

every single Sunday that I recall pastor Doug has mentioned the need to get saved - he has a salvation message tucked in somehow. AND

THE RAPTURE! Some days it's just a brief sentence or two, others he goes to town but he gets flack for including both! YUP, flack for those 2 things. "Pastor you mention it all the time, give it a rest why don't you?" they complain.

Meanwhile George and I were thrilled and played a little game. Every time he'd hit on salvation or the Rapture we'd high five each other on the couch and I'd yell BINGO!

We give to support them, I mean I give now to support them but you know what I mean. I may not be there physically on Sundays- that is impossible for me -- but I feel very very blessed to have that church.

They prayed for George and me, and the only part I miss is they usually cut Doug's broadcast right after the sermon and before communion. George and I would do communion on our own anyway.

Yesterday Doug must have gotten his flame proof undies on because he also preached on the role of women in the church- conservative view AND dropped in the Rapture plus his usual plug for getting saved if you aren't already.

One of the wonderful things is that even when I'm feeling really awful I can watch them and join in. The worship, the preaching. All from my couch, upright or if I'm really having a bad day with muscle stuff- lying down.

If I didn't have that I wouldn't be able to make it to church at all very often. It's made getting to church possible, even on the bad days.

LOVE that church! VERY happy to keep supporting them.
