Everlasting Life
By grace, through faith in Jesus
Political analyst Dick Morris told Newsmax Saturday that he has witnessed two incredible recent shifts in voter sentiment.
"One is that trend, which is that a lot of new voters are coming into the Republican Party, and a lot of voters are leaving the Democratic Party," Morris told "America Right Now."
Morris attributed the pendulum swing to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's announcement that the administration has deported 1.6 million illegal immigrants from the United States during President Donald Trump's first seven months in office.
"And that means that when seats for Congress are reapportioned, when the census comes in and earlier, if they do it earlier, Democrats will lose representation for those seats.....
Can't help but to see the clear motivation connected to permitting mass migration into the US. And this decision wasn't good for our country.
But neither was it good for many of the people who were under the impression that coming and settling in the US outside of the legal path already available, would be permanent. Quite frankly, it seems they were simply used to gain 'representation' that was most likely not in our forefathers minds when setting up the constitution (in fact true representation as was meant to happen, of US citizens, was diminished if not outright pulled away).
So, while I'm glad that things are being rectified, I'm saddened at the upheaval of lives, families, etc. of those who were basically lied to about their supposed future in America (not all were rapists, murderers or gang affiliated, many were desperate for the better life they knew of in America).
And now America is forced to be 'the bad guy' by re-setting the origional healthy national, constitutional boundaries in a necessary course correction.
It's been on my heart to keep these people in prayer, that God would help them to be able to be a force for good in the countries they are from. I know from scripture that God can work good in difficult situations like this.
It's my prayer that perhaps the Gospel was encountered here (I know of many who did) and that those of new faith in Jesus will bring that Gospel back to their homes in the same way Jesus sent a previously demon possessed man back home to his family and region he was from, to share the life giving Gospel with others
As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon possessed begged to go with him. But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how merciful he has been.” So the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed at what he told them.
Mark 5:18-20
