Detachment 201

Hanging on to the Throne
This is very disturbing!!! Tech industry executives sworn into the U.S. Army Reserve at Lieutenant Colonel, with no prior military service?!?!? I’m sorry but there is no justification for this. 🤯

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Army is establishing Detachment 201: The Army’s Executive Innovation Corps, a new initiative designed to fuse cutting-edge tech expertise with military innovation. On June 13, 2025, the Army will officially swear in four tech leaders.

Det. 201 is an effort to recruit senior tech executives to serve part-time in the Army Reserve as senior advisors. In this role they will work on targeted projects to help guide rapid and scalable tech solutions to complex problems. By bringing private-sector know-how into uniform, Det. 201 is supercharging efforts like the Army Transformation Initiative, which aims to make the force leaner, smarter, and more lethal.

The four new Army Reserve Lt. Cols. are Shyam Sankar, Chief Technology Officer for Palantir; Andrew Bosworth, Chief Technology Officer of Meta; Kevin Weil, Chief Product Officer of OpenAI; and Bob McGrew, advisor at Thinking Machines Lab and former Chief Research Officer for OpenAI.

Their swearing-in is just the start of a bigger mission to inspire more tech pros to serve without leaving their careers, showing the next generation how to make a difference in uniform.

I’m not sure how the OP can be linked to the final beast system of revelation…
I guess it depends on if one considers technology an important aspect of the beast system or not. I tend to think yes, but I also think you may be correct in past posts that it won’t necessarily be. But all signs point to yes at this point in my opinion.

Here they are getting sworn in. I’m sorry but this is very bizarre. Why weren’t they just hired as civilian contractors? They were given rank because their position needs authority and access for some reason.

Why would the beast system come from the military?

Anything is possible but IMO, this is a stretch.

There are plenty of tech giants out there which IMO would be more likely to implement the final beast system - if technology as we know it survives the first half of the tribulation when half of those left behind will be killed.

I don’t think the beast system will come out of our military but I think the military certainly could be used to enforce it, advance it.

I’m not sure why, but could be a semi high rank fits in better when working with real military officers.

In doing quick research, this has been done before.
Ok so I did find this.

Civilian Experts in Wartime

During World War II and in certain Cold War circumstances, civilians with exceptional technical or scientific expertise — such as scientists, engineers, or doctors — were sometimes given direct commissions at relatively high officer ranks (e.g., major or colonel). This allowed the military to integrate crucial expertise quickly.
