Daymond Duck 04/26/2025

More like Him daily until faith is sight
Construction in Iraq ongoing and taking Revelation LITERALLY, unlike some in my family, one can see the point that Daymond Duck is making in this “The Last Prophecy.” The article has several YouTube links, but this is a very interesting article! I’m surprised about this, but, it’s pointing to end times as the Lord gave us in Revelation 17and 18; and to OT prophets Jeremiah, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc.

Exciting times we live in!

I have always interpreted Babylon in Revelation as being allegorical. But Daymond might be correct. You see, I'd always thought that Babylon would have to be rebuilt as a huge city that held all sorts of industrial and commercial and financial business generators; but this is no longer necessary. Babylon could be quite small, as Daymond points out. It just needs to control the industrial, commercial and financial aspects of the entire world.

Well how could it do that if it were small? Quite simply-- AI. What got me thinking along these lines was Daymond's statement that Babylon is where Nimrod reigned and tried to replace the need for God, causing God to step in to stop mankind by confounding our languages. From that point on man was separated not only by geography or culture but by the fundamental means of communication: language. And that has stood until today this day.

Yes, there are people who speak a number of languages and there are translators who are able to translate from one language to another; but that does not eliminate the fundamental problem of people living and thinking and speaking in different languages. Until AI. You see, AI speaks every language. And it can do so simultaneously. A pronouncement can be made in one language and instantly everybody in the world who is hooked to the internet can hear that statement made in their own language. Simultaneously. Man, through AI, has seemingly undone what God has done!

But not only that. AI is capable of not just managing but controlling every financial transaction in in the world. Again, simultaneously. Especially when hooked to the lightspeed velocity of a quantum computer ... which is now a reality.

Taking all of the above into account, the Antichrist could easily set himself up in Babylon as his headquarters and rule the world from there. He would not need very much by way of infrastructure or staff, but through AI he would be able to control every aspect of life on this planet. And, in the beginning at least, as described in Revelation, this dictatorship would be benign. People might love it because it will bring ostensible peace and produce great prosperity while permitting a comfortable lifestyle without stress or the need for heavy labor. AI will take care of all of that.

Anyway, those are my initial thoughts after reading Daymond's article ... which was posted here at the very same time as I am preparing a short message on the greatest potential evil in the history of mankind-- AI. I'll be posting that message From The Pastor's Study, hopefully within a day.

I recently came to this same conclusion, and now I’m more convinced than ever of the literal, historically geographical Babylon.
I think it might be a huge computer complex and with just enough infrastructure to support the people who run it, and the head honcho.

As Andy Woods has stated, every mention of Babylon in the Bible refers to the actual city of Babylon.

I'm in agreement with Mr Duck with regards to the content of this article. I don't concern myself with how it will come to pass, I just believe the Bible speaks of Babylon literally with regards to this topic, so I expect it to come to pass.

Very few believed the Bible where it claimed Israel would become a nation-state again, in a day, but it happened as written.

Exactly! God makes the impossible possible and if he says it will be, it will happen.

What a great article! Thank you!

This makes tremendous sense!

I've always kept Babylon as literal Babylon, but also kept an open mind for the other major theories too. Recently I did a deep dive into the America as Babylon theory that I had tossed down to third place as a non starter. (Rome as Babylon has always been second place for me) But I decided to revisit it, several new takes on it emerged, and I was starting to think it might be my second place theory in place of Rome as Babylon theory.

I did some reading while I was on my break recently, and I'm back to my original view, Babylon IS Babylon regardless of problems. Rome is a possibility and is still a better alternative than America as Babylon.

While some aspects of that are interesting -America as Babylon is STILL a non starter and back at last place for me. Trump may well help put some of the pieces together for the End Time picture- And while America as a country may help provide the computing power that Babylon will require --it simply doesn't mean America is Babylon.

Bits of the Babylon furniture might include the Internet, AI, quantum computing, digital identity, digital currency and the like and America may be where Babylon gets those from, but America is not Babylon

I think Daymond says it well here:

"(My opinion: It is just speculation, Trump’s attitude toward Israel is an indication that he would support the rebuilding of the Temple on the Temple Mount. The fact that Trump chose a staunch Bible-believing, Israel-supporting Christian to be his ambassador to Israel is not insignificant and could well be an act of God who fulfills every jot and tittle of His Word. This is not to say that Trump is the Antichrist, because I have often said that I do not think he is, but it is to say that some think he would support a rebuilt Temple.)"

Where Daymond is pointing out how God is using Trump to support Israel and that would possibly include diplomatic, legal and military cover while Israel builds that Temple. In the same way I think the rise of Computing and the Internet in America that has revolutionized the world is a key aspect of the Tribulation period to come.

It helps iron out some of the wrinkles that @mattfivefour mentions.
