Israel confirmed it had struck numerous military sites during its retaliatory strikes on Iran on Saturday. The attack was declared over by 5:45 a.m., just as the sun began rising over Tehran, according to public broadcaster KAN11.


The attack occurred in three major waves, US and Israeli officials said. The second and third waves targeted Iranian drone and missile production sites, hitting over 20 targets, according to Axios and the New York Times.

Iran told AFP that it had not received any reports of injuries from the strikes.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant was directing the attacks from a secure complex in IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv, according to Israeli media.

It's in one of the 2 big Elam passages this time in Jeremiah 49:36 here in NIV

I will bring against Elam the four winds
from the four quarters of heaven;

In terms of looking more closely at the Bible's use of the four winds that I find interesting and wonder about, Daniel 7:2 in the AMPC renders this passage:

Daniel said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heavens [political and social agitations] were stirring up the great sea [the nations of the world].

Revelation 7:1-15 also mentions the 4 winds:

7 After this I saw four angels stationed at the four corners of the earth, firmly holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind should blow on the earth or sea or upon any tree.

What is interesting about the “four winds” is that in Jer 49 they come from the four ends of heaven. In Zech 6:5, some translations say “spirits” and others “winds”. Rev 7:1 speaks of the “four winds of the earth”. I haven't really worked out yet whether these are earthly powers or angels. In Psalm 104:4 we are told that he makes his angels winds and his servants flames of fire.

A few of the reports I read were suggesting that Britain and America were telling Iran, stand down, take it like men and don't launch any more funny business at Israel because they apparently "coordinated' with Israel.

I don't know how much of that I believe. Israel's allies telling all to their buddies in Iran, yeah for sure. Making it look good like they weren't totally in the dark about Israel's launch last night, yup that might be a good spin to put on it.

I find such trains of thought that you put forward quite exciting, because they encourage further research! Such spiritual connections, which you cite, delight me immensely. The influence of angels behind the leaders of nations, yes, that reminds me of Daniel 10:13, among other things. Persia and Elam are both part of Iran. So there are obviously evil angels behind the evil leaders, if I understand correctly. (I think the same could also be the case with "Gog"?)

When will Israel hit Iran and the nuclear program?

There’s a STRONG POSSIBILITY that the Biden administration will face a decision between November 5th and January 20, 2025 on a potential USA and ISRAEL COMBO strike against the Iranian nuclear sites, given the concerning actions by Iran for a potential breakout to a nuclear bomb.

Key air defenses were disabled in Iran overnight by Israel. Hezbollah has been weakened over the past few weeks by Israeli bombings. Iran knows the IAF could come back for more.

This fear ALONE will most likely prompt Iran to push forward with a nuclear bomb, and Israel will stop it.

Iran knew for 3 weeks that an Israeli attack was coming, and might even have been tipped off indirectly by Israel about the timing of the coming Israeli strikes. Yet IRAN could do NOTHING to stop the Israeli jets from carrying out their operation deliberately and very systematically in waves.

Now Iran — and its gas and nuclear facilities — are more VULNERABLE than ever. Iran’s most advanced anti-aircraft systems were destroyed, and replacing them — if Russia is even willing or able to do so with its war against Ukraine— will not happen immediately. Iran’s air defenses, which were totally ineffective on Saturday, are now even less capable with Anti Air Defense batteries and their long range radars being destroyed.

Iranian leaders will calculate how much more it would take for Israel to focus on targets with higher strategic value — like the Iranian oil facilities, and of course, the Iranian nuclear missile program.

This doesn’t mean Iran won’t respond to Israel’s attack. Iran DOES NOT want to appear weak in front of its population and its terrorist proxy network. Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal is large and can cause damage to Israel even if most of what it fires gets intercepted by Israel and its allies. Israelis are in NO MOOD to have massive Iranian missile attacks becoming the new normal.

With pressure growing on Iran, and now a sense of vulnerability, this COULD be the final scenario that pushes Khamenei to order an all-out drive to FIELD a NUCLEAR WEAPON and present a powerful new deterrent against Israel and the US.

THIS is certainly possible.

But after ISRAEL’S strike, it is also now more likely that ISRAEL will feel it has the capacity — and the imperative — to go after Iran’s nuclear program soon, with a new series of attacks and TO DESTROY THEM.
