Commie Chicago to have state-run grocery stores instead of a solution to its crime crisis

1LoverofGod

Well-known
Urban progressives’ treatment plans for their self-inflicted wounds are always some toxic combination of too simplistic and too roundabout.

Over the past two years, both Walmart (four of eight) and Whole Foods (two of four) have closed half their Chicago locations.

The retailers released boilerplate, euphemistic statements to explain their choices.

“We know the community will have questions about why we are closing these locations,” acknowledged the former.

Give them a foothold and they will be in full control.
If this plan is enacted, don't doubt it will spread to other "Blue controlled states", and be another continuation to the Elite agenda to control the people globally.

They don't hide their intentions.
Always saying the "quiet part out loud" . This is a quote from one of the Elites who have been part of this agenda.

“Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world”
~ Henry Kissinger (1973)

What do the ration cards look like?

Or does everyone end up with a SNAP card?

It's floating around that there's coming a "major economic crash", in the US which thus far has been the greatest economy in the world because the dollar has been the major global currency, but because of our deficit because we are over 30 trillion dollars in debt, our dollar value is going to be worthless. This is why the BRICS has been trying to push the dollar out of the global currency and replace it with a new global currency that's convertible into gold. Many nations have already "signed up" for this major change, with more nations wanting to join.
When, and I mean when, our dollar currency falls because of an economic crash, the US will no doubt see the economy in a worse state than the "great depression" of the 1930's.
Now to answer your question.

You may recall history of the Great depression era.
At that time, during the great depression, money couldn't be used to purchase food items and FDR launched the beginning of Government issued Vouchers, today known as food stamps, or SNAP, just as you mentioned.

Vouchers were given that limited quantity, similar to how today government issued WIC vouchers limit how much of a particular food item one can buy.

The government also issued what was called Commodities.
Prepackaged or canned foods. Basics like cheese, dry milk, beans, peanut butter, and such.
They still give out government commodities distribution today, as well as good stamps, for qualifying low income families.

If, and when, US economy crashes, and it will, no doubt the government will be in control of food distribution.

This step being taken by the Chicago Mayor to take control of grocery stores, for the purpose of controlling the increase in store theft, is a farce.

To me this is a practice run for government take over of the food and eventually all retail merchandise.

Sounds like the government is unwittingly prepping the groundwork for the controlling of buying and selling for the Antichrist, Revelation 13.

*We will not be here for the Mark of the Beast that will be required for buying and selling that will be implemented by The False Prophet at the mid point of the Tribulation, that the church is not appointed to undergo because it will be part of God's judgements (1Thessalonians 5:9), but believers in Christ Jesus have been saved and sealed with the promise to be caught up to meet Jesus in the air, before the tribulation begins. Revelation 3:10

Now this may ruffle some feathers. It's not my intent to upset anyone, but I believe in what God's Word says.

I know many don't like hearing this but it's something we all need to keep in mind. I don't say this to get anyone upset or cause worry.
I love everyone and say this because I love everyone and we need to be real about things.

We may still be here to see the US economy crash, as well as a possible global economic crisis. The Antichrist doesn't have to be revealed for this to happen, nor does the prophetic tribulation have to begin for the economy to crash. It happened before in the 1930's as we know through history.

We may have to endure some tough times, just as we are already seeing some beginnings of birth pangs that lead up to the tribulation.

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:23

I never thought we would be here just for what is happening now.
The world is so wicked and unstable, and is getting worse. We see Isaiah 5:20 happening before our eyes with "evil being called good, and good is called evil ".
Not to leave out that we are seeing a Romans 1 society.

"because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them."
Romans 1:21-32

The Rapture is imminent, so we CAN be Raptured today, but we just don't know how bad it will get before we are caught up, so we should prepare ourselves for tough times.

While preparing economically, is important, it's far more important to prepare ourselves spiritually so we remain firmly grounded in our faith.

Coming here for fellowship is very important so we can discuss the things happening around the world with it's ties to end times Bible prophecy and Encourage one another.
Our purpose for coming here is just that. While we wait for our blessed hope, we can discuss the Prophetic events happening, and we encourage one another as we see the day drawing near.

"For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words."
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
1 Thessalonians 5:11

"Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Luke 21:28

** Sis, I really had not intended on making this comment turn into such a "sermon".
And I honestly am not directing this just at you. I am being general here with what I have said.
Times are wicked.

Why has God set a Day for judgement? We are having just a "taste" of what will only get much worse as Jesus put it, a
"tribulation like has not occurred since the beginning of Creation ".
Thank God we won't be here for that 🙌

I found it important to point out what is real and yet recognize that we have nothing to worry about. We don't want to be ignorant or blind sided by what's coming.

"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober."
1 Thessalonians 5:4-5

So the economy crashes. We could see that. We don't worry though.
What does the Bible say?

"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus"
Philippians 4:19

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?

28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Matthew 6:25-34

"looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,"
Titus 2:13

"He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!"
Revelation 22:20

**Sorry this seems like a sermon. I love ya guys. You're my beloved family 🫂😇❤️

God's plan is perfect, so when I get home, I'll be perfectly happy. Between now and then, I may or may not like it, but it's part of God's perfect plan.

I have seen and experienced so much evil in this world that nothing surprises me any more.

Truly, a pre-Trib Rapture is a blessed hope, as is Salvation, itself :)

At that time, during the great depression, money couldn't be used to purchase food items

Do you have any evidence of the above? I don't believe it to be the case. Whatever the govmint might have come up with I've little doubt that those with coins in their pocket could purchase food in what was a much more decentralized market than what we have today. During the Great Depression, I think lack of money was the limiting factor in how much food a person could purchase.

I'm more familiar with WWII restrictions on buying... things, all kinds of things were rationed and people had their ration books. They still paid with money but they also had to have the ration coupons. My parents drove from Michigan to California during the war after they received gifts from people of gasoline ration coupons to make the trip.

It's floating around that there's coming a "major economic crash"

That's been floating for decades. It may well happen someday, but the rumor of it is as useful as the little boy repeatedly warning of a wolf attack... I wrote a thesis on that very topic back around 1990. When I think of that thesis I feel foolish now...

I used the incorrect words here. What I meant to say was that money had lost it's value. Even if you had money, because the cost of living was so high, most people couldn't afford to purchase basic essentials because of the decline in monetary value.

If a person could afford the cost of living it was because they were wealthy.

I wouldn't say it's been floating around for a long time and be a skeptic about it being different today. Because no doubt we are at the threshold of the Tribulation, it's a guarantee that the economy is going to crash and we may be or not be here to see it because the Rapture could happen anytime, but the convergence of the last days signs are evident and to believe that this is no different than ten years ago or five years ago is not paying attention to biblical fact that we're nearing the end of days more than ever.
As many prophecy teachers have been saying for the past couple of years and are still saying, we are witnessing "shadows of the Tribulation" right now. Others say, "we can almost hear the hooves of the four horsemen riding".
As I said, our focus is on the unseen, the eternal, not the seen, as scripture says.
We don't have a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and love and of a sound mind.
Part of having a sound mind is to be alert and know the Season we are in. There's a manufactured global famine in progress being caused by the climate alarmists in order to push the great reset. The US hasn't seen the worst of it yet, but it's coming. We pray we don't have to be here for it, but we might, so it's wise to prepare ourselves, most importantly in the spiritual sense.
I'm not fear mongering here. I'm being real.

Sorry to be a pest, but there was a lot of deflation during the Great Depression so the value of money actually increased during that time. The problem was a whole lot of people didn't have enough coin in their pockets to meet basic needs. If they did have a nickel, though, it would buy more than it used to.

After WWII, people in Germany paid for a small loaf of bread with a wheel barrel full of money because of the horrific inflation, driven by a combination of loss of value of the currency and severe shortages. Had to be Deutschmarks, not Reichmarks. Thriving black market and foreign currency, especially US Dollar and British Pound, could buy anything that was available. Prostitution, robbery, theft, etc. horrific because of how desperate people were.

Unthinkable as it is because of how "modern" and "civilized" Europe was before the war and even after, there were people in Europe, who starved to death after the war.

I read the following and it sounds like a recent news article with how banks are closing and many are rushing to take out their money from the bank and many places are no longer taking cash because of the push to go to CBDC.

In the fall of 1930, the first of four waves of banking panics began, as large numbers of investors lost confidence in the solvency of their banks and demanded deposits in cash, forcing banks to liquidate loans in order to supplement their insufficient cash reserves on hand.

Bank runs swept the United States again in the spring and fall of 1931 and the fall of 1932, and by early 1933 thousands of banks had closed their doors.

In the face of this dire situation, Hoover’s administration tried supporting failing banks and other institutions with government loans; the idea was that the banks in turn would loan to businesses, which would be able to hire back their employees.

Great Depression: Black Thursday, Facts & Effects

The wealthy were not effected, and during the Tribulation they won't be effected by the black horseman, as it's not to touch the oil and the wine.

The wealthy were not effected,

A lot of middle class who managed to have jobs did okay too. My dad worked for Ford Motor Company in Michigan during the Depression. Having a job, he and his were fine. Ford was good to its employees during that difficult time.

Some of the wealthy lost their shirts while others just got wealthier... the effect on that class was mixed.

Some places only have government-run liquor stores now and that's the way it's "always been." State, County and/or Municipal. It's all about the money (taxes).
