Christ Himself will descend from heaven to receive us unto Himself! He's coming in the twinkling of an eye with a shout of the trumpet call of God. We won't be seen going up; it's going to be swift. This is much different than when He comes riding on a horse to judge the world.

Chronological Sequence of the Rapture

1. The Lord himself shall descend from heaven
2. The Lord will give a shout, a command for the resurrection and translation to occur.
3. Michael the archangel will repeat the command
4. With Michael’s repetition of the command the trumpet will sound, and the Rapture itself will commence
5. The dead in Christ will rise first
6. Then the living shall be caught up in the clouds
7. The resurrected will meet the Lord in the air and will forever more be with the Lord.
