“When CDC Director Susan Monarez refused to rubber-stamp unscientific, reckless directives and fire dedicated health experts, she chose protecting the public over serving a political agenda. For that, she has been targeted,” the attorneys wrote, according to AP.

“This is not about one official. It is about the systematic dismantling of public health institutions, the silencing of experts, and the dangerous politicization of science. I wish that "unscientific, reckless directives" were specified. We are left to speculate on what exactly her position is on various things. Also who exactly are the dedicated health experts that the CDC wants fired. Are the experts doctors who are yes men and women or are they ones who will not insist on a one size fits all treatment of conditions. Are they people who insist on agreeing with Fauci or are they the ones who do not believe that Fauci is "the science".
