Bondi removed as attorney general: reports

Vance says new assistant AG will make sure 'no fraud' is small or big enough to 'look away from'

Vice President JD Vance said Wednesday the Justice Department will no longer "turn a blind eye" to fraud in the United States, regardless of how big or small the fraud is.

Vance made the comment just before he swore Assistant Attorney General for National Fraud Enforcement Colin McDonald into office, who has been confirmed to help lead Vance's national fraud task force.

The vice president claimed that the DOJ previously "turned a blind eye" toward fraud that was under an undisclosed dollar amount, but that McDonald has promised to ensure that "no fraud is small enough or big enough to look away from."

I don't know enough about Bondi's performance to know whether to be glad or sad. I know I can't trust most of what I've read about her, and the rank and file's social media posts that turned against her probably don't have much basis beyond the school swimming together.

Yeah i thought though that her recent public evaluation was pretty bad. On those merits alone, it would be worthy of losing that position, in my estimation. It looks like she is being transitioned into the private sector...lol which is a strange way to be fired. And is interesting that it would seem Trump to oversee a transition from a public to private job. Has this sort of thing been done before? Just not aware of one escorted by the government that i am aware of.

This seems to be your answer:
