I use blood moons as a good indicator that the preacher's take on prophecy is a bit shaky.
They are pretty but until the Tribulation they don't mean much as far as I can tell, but I might be wrong. Just have never seen the connection to anything before the Tribulation.
Mark Biltz kind of ruined it by thinking Christ would return between 2014 and 2015 tetrad. We were more interested in seeing him as a false prophet than the interesting observations made aside from his really bad prediction. The tetrads historically seem to have extremely interesting and fascinating occurences at the time or very near the time of them regarding Israel or the Jews. It kind of made me a blood red moon believer. I am not a follower of Biltz. I am a cessationist so I don't think we have prophets. But picking up on the history with tetrads and the Jews was just amazing research.
To me, the desire not to be deceived is a bit in our age seemingly a bit too fine tuned. It would seem that the take away is from Matt 24 is not "do not be deceived" as much as it is "be sober minded." Because it would seem that part of being deceived in our day and age would include biases we might place upon what not to consider. Like an under the radar motif that possibly exists like an entire Atlantis under ocean depths potential of insights horizon line.
For me in general I would tend to go with a Rev 12 sign for 2017 because it was the same year Israel affirmed Jerusalem. In my estimation, 9/23 then to be a marker ahead of the actual implication. In general I view the 3 celestial signs in Revelation (woman & child, Red Dragon, and 7 Angels) to be emblems for each of the 3 judgement cycles. Red Dragon for Trumpets, and Woman & Child for Seals (but in the age of grace given quite a head of time in God's patience and mercy). If the tribulation is as far out as 2032 that would be a whole 15 years ahead of schedule. I hope its not that far off. But if we think about it though, even if it might, 15 years is pretty short for such a freignt train coming up on the world historically. That would mean even babies born in 2017 would have had time by early adulthood (Barmitsva age), to arrive at some sense making of where things are leaning by than. It would seem the earliest might be 2026, which is 9 years. Or maybe its even a clean 12 years at 2029--which would be interesting because if that might be the timing then Heisers notion of a birth date of Christ being 9-11-03 BC by using the same constellation ironicly--would have likely been accurate...and then it would seem to be exactly 2025 years (adding 1 year for 0 since the birth of Christ--2029). Which no one is dating by. This is why it is believed 911 occurred seemingly on Christ's birthday. Not sure why 2025 years would be used instead of 2000 if that is the case. But...
You want to trip out for a moment? lol. Go and look at when the feast of Trumpets was in 3 BC. Then go ahead and look at when it is in 2029 AD. Pretty trippy huh? lol Please keep in mind though, I am cessationist.
Sometimes I wonder if the rapture is somehow tied to Christ's ascention. We don't know the exact day, but it would be 40 days after His resurrection. Some scholars guess at May 19. Which is interesting close to the date Israel became a nation on May 14. Makes me wonder if the rapture might not be like a way to suggest to Israel that they could have "really really really" started their nation on that rapture date...kind of thing. Anywayz...
I would still though for me hold that September 23, 2017 alignment after the great American Eclipse Part I in August of that same year (33 days prior to 9/23) implies Rev 12 sign. For it it is kind of interesting to note that both Great American Eclipses were during Trump years of first year in presidency too. For me, I do see America in prophecy. So I guess it is possible to see MAGA somewhat prophetic and not be NAR or Christian Nationalist in the slightest. Which might seem to be an anomaly to seeming sides assigned to be on in our generic Eschatology opinion fray of sorts. I don't really use 9/23/17 as anything more than a potential Rev 12 sign implying seals are likely on the horizon. Like I don't use it to see other dates. But it is interesting to consider different POVs along the way.

in Revelation 4. It goes into detail in Revelaltion 6:12-14. https://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/christianity/6-heavenly-signs-of-the-end-times.aspx Thursday night we were sitting outside and saw the beginning of orange in the moon, and kind of creamy looking. It was pretty but a blood moon would look red. It also reminds me of the Autumn colors.
