When does the Judgment happen.

....for the Believers and for the Wicked.

Rom 14:10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
Rom 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
Rom 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

So when does this judgment happen?

Now take into account that the Bible speaks of a Judgment for the Believers as they lay claim to be worthy to be redeemed by Christ at His Second Coming.

1 Peter 4:17 For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God ?

Now we see again that the Bible speaks about a Judgment Day......

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

And we see where God sets up a courtroom for judgement that is described in both Daniel and Revelation..

Daniel 7:9-10
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

Revelation 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Notice that the book life and books are mentioned as being used, its the same judgement event. But this cannot be for the saints as they have already been judged as Christ clearly lays out..

Matthew 25:33
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

So the house of God, the saints, are judged before they "inherit the kingdom prepared for you". And we see it says that "judgment was given to the saints of the most High" in Daniel before "the saints possessed the kingdom."..
Daniel 7:22
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

And its clear that Christ is who will judge, both the house of God and those who have chosen condemnation by continuing in the bondage of sin.

No one knows when the Bema seat judgement takes place as it's likely to place when we've been raptured.

The Bible shows us that there comes a point where the saints and the wicked are separated, so the judgement has happened then, and the just are gathered and the unjust set aside for perdition.

Matthew 25:31-34
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Matthew 24:31
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mark 13:27
And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

John 5:22
For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Romans 14:10
But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Jude 1:15
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

But Christ also has a open court judgement so the whole universe can see that the wicked deserve the punishment they receive at the Lake of Fire. This is the one we see in Daniel 7 and Revelation.

Daniel 7:9-10
9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

And we see they are the goats or wicked that were separated from the sheep or the saints..

Matthew 13:41
The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Luke 3:17
Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

2 Peter 2:9
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2 Peter 3:7
But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

The bible also shows us thay there are 2 seperate judgements.

The Bema seat judgement which is when church age believers are judged and the sheep and goat judgment at the end of the tribulation which is for tribulation saints and non believers.

1.. Bema judgment...for believers only, after Rapture. Issue is rewards.

2... Sheep and Goats Judgment ... after Tribulation, for believers and non. Issue is eternal destination.

3.. Great White Throne Judgment .. after Millennium, Unbelievers only, issue is eternal destination.
Lol i was having a mind blank, thanks for including the 3rd judgement, i knew i left it out

One is to judge the sheep/saints and the goats/wicked which is done before the Second Coming, so is a pre-advent judgement where all come before the judgment seat of Christ. Then the Great White Throne judgement, which is one which the saints will see along with the whole universe in what essential is a open court judgement to show the evidence so that all may see that God is just and vindicated in His divine punishment on the wicked.

The Bema Seat Judgment, is the Judgment Seat of Christ...
