What to Expect from the Historic Netanyahu–Trump Meeting in Washington — Big Stakes, Big Deal

Washington, D.C. — Sept. 28, 2025

After months of intense diplomacy, public positioning, and back‑channel maneuvering, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will sit across from President Donald Trump this Monday in what may become one of the most consequential Middle East meetings of the decade. With pressure mounting from Arab states, Turkey, and Washington itself, the world will be watching whether this encounter becomes a turning point or another stalled spectacle.

The Stakes: A Delicate Balancing Act

At its core, this isn’t just a meeting over ceasefire or hostage release. It’s a negotiation over the structure of Gaza’s future, the role of Palestinian governance, Israel’s limits, and America’s position as arbiter — all while preserving precarious domestic coalitions and regional consensus.

One of the most striking public signals: Trump has said he will “not allow Israel to annex the West Bank.” That alone hints at a more assertive U.S. posture than many expected, and suggests that Israel could face a red line even from a typically pro‑Israel executive.

What to Watch Closely This Week.....

We Must Pray

If we, as the body of Christ, do not pray and intercede, and if there is any attempt to divide the land of Israel, then even our beloved president could lose his position. Not because of politics — but because of covenant consequences. And that's why we we must pray now.

The Word of God is clear: “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you” (Genesis 12:3). Dividing the land that belongs to the God of Israel brings judgment — not because of men, but because of the unchanging covenant He made with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Above all, praying for Israel.
“They shall not divide the land.” — Joel 3:2

I posted these articles because I noticed on the first one it quotes Trump saying he "hears Hamas wants it (the deal) too"
On the second article it says Hamas claims they haven't seen the plan yet but only what was said at the press conference.

If I have to decide who to believe it would be Trump, but I have to say "seeing is believing" in this case. If Hamas agrees to the plan we will see All the hostages released and no more attacks on Israelis.

This is just more of the same. Hamas attacks Israel, Israel retaliates and is condemned, Israel forced to withdraw and give in to terrorists, then repeat.

  • Give amnesty to the terrorists who participated in Oct. 7th??
  • Hamas give up their weapons, fat chance! Too many hidden tunnels?
  • Hamas live side by side in peace with Israelis? Will never happen!
*Hamas to release hostages? The few left which have not been murdered. What about the tortured hostages? No punishment?
*Israel to release thousands to attack them again?
* Let the terrorists go to anywhere they choose? (To regroup and attack again)

This is like Charlie Brown kicking the football, Lucy (Hamas) will just pull away the ball (attack again), when Charlie (Israel) tries to kick (give in to Hamas).

Sorry, but this is terrible!. Trump is being foolish. I can't understand why this is good?? Hamas gets everything, Israel gets nothing (except a few hostages)

Again, for those who need a recap, this is Trump’s deal:

1. The hostages will be returned within 72 hours.
2. Hamas will be disarmed.
3. The Gaza Strip will be demilitarized.
4. The Strip will be managed by an international body headed by Trump — oh, and also Blair.
5. In the end, Israel will control the perimeter.
6. Trump understands and accepts Netanyahu’s opposition to a Palestinian state.
7. The Palestinian Authority will not be given any foothold in the management of the Strip in any way — and Hamas is out of the question entirely.
8. If the Palestinian Authority does not carry out the reforms Trump has set for it — changing its education system, stopping payments to terrorists, recognizing Israel as a Jewish state, disarming its terror organizations, renouncing the “right of return,” and recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital — then it will not be part of Gaza’s reconstruction.
9. Anyone who wants to leave Gaza will be able to leave, and the Arab states will contribute their share and support it.
And if Hamas says no — Trump: “Bibi, finish the job, like you know how.”

"Seeks eternal peace"......my eye! Either Trump NEVER reads the Bible (which I figure is probably true) or NEVER associates with true Bible prophecy teachers (which I also figure is true), because he is clueless about the covenant God made with Abraham and Jacob and the multitude of prophecies about the world working with 1 man to destroy Israel and push in the satanic trinity!

Since the so-called Palestinians never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity,
i guess they'll huff and call it an insult. In fact, they already do.
The question is, how much leverage will Qatar pull.
And if this plan fails, how hard can and will Israel unleash on Hamas in Gaza and abroad?

IMO, it is stupid to negotiate with terrorists. I think Satan is going to continue to try to wipe out Israel, cause he is stubborn like that and still thinks he can thwart God's plan and promises. And he's going to work through his pawns. Yet, we know somehow Israel comes to peaceful conditions before E38, so we have to see what happens. Maybe this is part of that, but it feels like we've seen this movie before.

I'm with you, i'm so sick of seeing this movie again

Well, this is new!
Or is it?

The proof will be in the pudding.
Exiting days to live in, for sure.

1 The burden of the word of the LORD against Israel. Thus says the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
2 "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.
3 "And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
4 "In that day," says the LORD, "I will strike every horse with confusion, and its rider with madness; I will open My eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
5 "And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem [are] my strength in the LORD of hosts, their God.'
6 "In that day I will make the governors of Judah like a firepan in the woodpile, and like a fiery torch in the sheaves; they shall devour all the surrounding peoples on the right hand and on the left, but Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place--Jerusalem.
7 "The LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become greater than that of Judah.
8 "In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David [shall be] like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them.
9 "It shall be in that day [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for [his] only [son], and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.
11 "In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo.
12 "And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves;
13 "the family of the house of Levi by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves;
14 "all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.
[Zechariah 12:1-14 NKJV]

He seems to have an optimistic approach to whatever he's trying to accomplish and seems to sometimes say optimistic things that don't really have a basis. That might be part of his game strategy in trying to influence parties to buy in to the plan. He did that with Putin too but things didn't work out.
