We are ALL sinners in God’s eyes and here’s why

Goodboy

Just waiting for the Rapture at this point!
We are ALL sinners in God’s eyes and here’s why

Mathew 5:27 and 5:28

27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

As God looks at the heart it is not so much what you have done, but what you are thinking. As an example, if you saw an unconscious man and in your attempt to wake him you accidentally pushed him off a cliff and he died, mans law would find you guilty while God would find you innocent. Conversely, if you wanted to push the man off the cliff but did not, man’s law would find you innocent, but God would find you guilty. Because we are ALL sinners we cannot help but think sinful thoughts, which makes us guilty in God's eyes.

My point here is that it would be more correct to ask someone about their thoughts rather than their actions when it comes to sin regarding salvation. I can’t see how anyone can really believe that they never think of sinful things. So can you see how God sees no difference between the worst sinner and the best sinner? We are ALL sinners!

Don’t misunderstand me though; what I have been speaking of is sin as it has to do with salvation. Meaning sinful thoughts regardless of your action good or bad is what would keep you out of Heaven, which is why we all need Jesus. Now if we are talking about sin as it applies to our Christian walk on earth, then our actions make all the difference. Your actions are all that others on earth can see and respond to. So of course your actions as it applies to your Christian walk on earth are important.

On your earthly Christian walk your actions are more important than your thoughts. You cannot always control your thoughts, but you can control your actions. Now I did not say that you do or even want to control your actions, but just that you can. So can I judge or maybe I should say discern someone’s Christian walk based on their actions? To a large degree yes. Can I judge or discern someone’s salvation based on their actions? Absolutely not. Again, because when it comes to salvation God sees us all exactly the same regarding sin.

We are either a horrible sinner with no covering or a horrible sinner covered in the blood of Jesus. Those are the ONLY two options!

Have you accepted Jesus as your personal savior yet?

Goodboy :)
