US refuses to approve Israeli strike as Iran missile threat grows – report

As rumors and intelligence warnings about a growing Iranian missile threat continue to mount, concern is rising across the region.

At the same time, senior U.S. officials are signaling that the Trump administration is not, at this stage, inclined to approve direct Israeli military action against Iran’s ballistic missile program, despite heightened tensions and intensified Iranian military activity.

A senior U.S. State Department official told Israel’s Wallah News that while Washington continues to view Iran as a destabilizing force in the Middle East and beyond, President Donald Trump’s current approach relies on diplomatic and economic pressure rather than immediate military action.

Netanyahu is expected to argue that Iran’s expanding missile arsenal threatens not only Israel but also regional stability and U.S. interests, and to present a range of options that could include Israeli action alone or varying levels of American involvement.

The upcoming meeting between Netanyahu and Trump is set to underscore the growing strategic debate between the two allies over how and when to confront the expanding Iranian missile threat.

Its just not right for the US to keep Israel from handling threats from its adversaries, especially nuclear threats from Iran.
Better to handle the threat with a pre-emptive, and not wait until nuclear missiles are flying into Israel.
US military soldiers were killed by ISIS terrorists in Syria, and the US did the right thing to do air strikes over Syria in retaliation.
Nobody can tell the US not to act against threats, so nobody should tell Israel not to protect its security interests.

Netanyahu: “We are not resting on our laurels for even a moment. Our enemies are licking their wounds and rearming in order to strike us again. I am referring to Hamas in Gaza - we experienced an attack by it this morning. It openly declares that it has no intention of disarming, contrary to President Trump’s plan - and we will respond accordingly. Hezbollah also has no intention of disarming - and that, too, is being addressed. The Houthis, and of course Iran itself as well. New threats are emerging. We are not seeking confrontations, but our eyes are open in every direction.

Israel’s air superiority in the Middle East is a cornerstone of our national security. We will continue to equip our Air Force with the best tools available - and we will also prevent those who must be prevented from obtaining these tools.”
