US forces are under regular attacks by militants at base near Syrian government airfield

U.S. forces are fighting Iranian-backed proxies in Syria frequently as they come under militant attacks that analysts say have been aided by the Syrian government. Dozens of those rocket, missile and drone attacks have focused on a strategic American base at a gas field in northeastern Syria near the Iraq border, a de facto territorial dividing point between forces backed by Iran and the U.S.-led coalition to defeat the Islamic State group.

Mission Support Site Conoco has been attacked about 40 times since October 2023, U.S. Central Command said in a statement this month.

Why do you think our troops are there illegally?

Syria is a sovereign nation. Unless my memory is off, we weren't invited in, but when the orchestrated Arab spring didn't work out in the globalists favor in Syria, some of our troops were sent there.

It would be like a foreign military planting themselves in the middle of the USA somewhere without any invitation from the USA.

That's my recollection of the way things went down. I remember talking to Hugh, (paidinfull) at that time, and he nailed it. He said it was a globalist move, he mentioned some financial group (black rock?- can't remember the particulars) that wanted to have a finger in the pie over there and it's been a bit of a mess ever since. At first they helped the Kurds, then they turned their backs on the Kurds.

The area in question is Kurdish. The Kurds are ancient Medes and they show up for the final destruction of Babylon (foggy day, can't remember the scripture reference) so there are some prophetic implications in preserving the Kurds for their end time role. They are under attack from the Syrians and the Turks (and I think Iraq doesn't love them either).

US responds to attack on troops with strike in Syria
U.S. forces on Tuesday struck Iranian-aligned militia groups in Syria in retaliation for the fighters attacking American bases.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a post on the social platform X that it struck a weapons storage facility and that a battle damage assessment was underway to determine the impact of the strike.U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a post on the social platform X that it struck a weapons storage facility and that a battle damage assessment was underway to determine the impact of the strike.
