UN inquiry accuses Israel of crime of 'extermination' in destruction of Gaza health system

A United Nations inquiry said on Thursday it found that Israel carried out a concerted policy of destroying Gaza's Hamas-run healthcare system in the Israel-Hamas war, actions amounting to both war crimes and the crime against humanity of extermination.

A statement by former high commissioner for human rights Navi Pillay released ahead of a full report accused Israel of "relentless and deliberate attacks on medical personnel and facilities" in the war, triggered by Hamas's October 7 massacre.

"Children in particular have borne the brunt of these attacks, suffering both directly and indirectly from the collapse of the health system," said Pillay, whose report will be presented to the UN General Assembly on October 30.

Has the UN never dealt with war before?
All wars have casualties. It's sad but that's a consequence of war.
Israel did not start this war. But they will finish it because the they feel their existence threatened.
The UN is making excuses because they have a disdain for Israel, to even say that 1948 establishment of Israel as a nation was "a catastrophe".

They are so lucky that right wing and Christian demographics are NOT prone to violence! Which is why they feel free to do what they do. Sadly the American taxpayer is footing the bill for all this garbage. Maybe Trump can cut off their gravy train, and like @Ronnie suggested on another thread, evict the UN and take over the buildings for American veterans. Looks like Israel did the same with UNRWA in Jerusalem- they've confiscated the buildings, and are going to tear down and rebuild good housing!
