It's not just the mosques that are using religious freedom in the U.S. and recruiting, now the FBI has warned Russian Orthodox churches in the U.S. that they may be being used for this purpose.
Meanwhile, Ukraine has recognized (and finally taken action) against churches that are collaborating with the enemy.
It should be noted, Patriarch Krill (religious head of the Russian Orthodox Church) has condemned the separate Ukrainian Orthodox Church and said it's still part of ROC, and has publicly supportedRussian USSR invasion of Ukraine. Putin is the state head of the ROC.
