President Donald Trump met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Sunday to discuss trade and other issues.

Trump announced that a trade deal has been reached.

"We are agreeing that the tariff straight-across for automobiles and everything else will be a straight-across tariff of 15%," Trump said.

"They're going to purchase $750 billion worth of energy, so that's going to be great, and $600 billion of investments into the United States over and above what they have," he added.

The deadline of August 1 for new higher tariffs to be imposed on the European Union is fast approaching.

This is kind of similar to the way I would have understood 45 and Twitter. Constantly baiting Dems to end up right again. Almost like a vaudeville act. But Trump, the economist? lol. Go figure. My sense upon that speaks to his insights of how globalist enterprise used economics against America. That does not take a doctorate to understand, especially if you have top secret Intel. Plus, the simple principals of getting money from other countries instead of taxing your own country to death is a no brainer in simple arithmetic. Trump is a lot of things. But yes, I would say one of them would be his love for the country that provided so much opportunity for him throughout his life. And made him the likely mascot of the American dream. Blessings.

What Trump has been doing should by all economic theory be impossible.

I think the reason it works isn't because he's developed a new economic principle, its because GOD is blessing him due to his support for Israel.
