Trump on Fed's actions: 'It was a big cut'

Tall Timbers

Imperfect but forgiven

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump commented on the U.S. Federal Reserve's rate cut on Wednesday by saying "it was a big cut."

The Federal Reserve on Wednesday kicked off what is expected to be a series of interest rate cuts with an unusually large half-percentage-point reduction.

I think the Feds are playing politics in favor of the hyena. Aside from fuel prices being down a bit, has inflation really cooled? Doesn't seem like it to me...

100% pure politics, look across the board at the Loons running our country. If God doesn’t intervene we are done for.

OOJ price went up over a dollar since last week for the new much smaller carton

Organic grass-fed butter has gone up, and WF seems to be running out earlier in the day

Plumbing parts, ai-yai-yai-yai-yai!

The organic cotton sheets I prefer are over twice as expensive now as they were during covid
(laundry more often until prices come down)
White cotton towels more expensive now, too.

Bleach (regular, not no-splash) has gone up ridiculously since pre-covid. Why is a $0.99-$2.29 large bottle (depending on where purchased) now over $10.00? or even $20.00? (don't buy here)

I'd welcome lower priced anything (except illegal stuff).

Problem is lowering rates before it's called for will likely see the inflation increase, which, until the govmint tames it's spending, will likely continue until our middle class becomes poor. I'm thankful we can make purchases with credit cards since the prices for wheel barrows is way up, too.

There was a bad bird flu that made them have to kill a bunch of chickens again. As to the real truth to all that, who knows???

Egg prices have been insane nonetheless!

Yes, killing whole flocks of chickens, turkeys, etc. is the way they keep bird flu from spreading. They also disinfect the farm/chicken facilities/equipment. They've been doing this "forever."

Minnesota announces and publishes where infected farms/poultry operations are located, so nearby farmers and families can keep closer watch over their flocks and for any wild bird (dead or otherwise).
