President Donald Trump said Sunday the U.S. will create a “crypto strategic reserve” that includes major cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and ethereum—boosting crypto prices—the latest effort by Trump to court the cryptocurrency industry as he’s become a major crypto backer in recent months.

Trump’s announcement Sunday builds on an executive order Trump issued Jan. 23 directing his administration to create a “working group” to propose a regulatory framework on digital assets, which includes evaluating a “national digital asset stockpile.”

It is guestimated that Bitcoin may go to $300k this year. In any event, to me it seems in line with taking down the Fed. Butcoin is seen in a lot of circles as a danger of making money totally digital (mark of the beast). But we don't have the mark of the beast in our age of grace. So in that sense, I think Bitcoin will be a champion (like gold) against the FED money press (central banking) and free the world of central banking war and economic hords. An age that seems to be extremely fleeting under a Trump admin. Blessings.

It seems extraordinarily foolish to me for the govmint to pay for and store crypto currency that doesn't have any intrinsic value. I'd rather see payments made on our debt. That would strengthen the US Dollar.
