Trudeau looks set to lose power after key ally vows to topple him

Well-known

OTTAWA, Dec 20 (Reuters) - Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday looked set to lose power early next year after a key ally said he would move to bring down the minority Liberal government and trigger an election.
New Democratic Party leader Jagmeet Singh, who has been helping keep Trudeau in office, said he would present a formal motion of no-confidence after the House of Commons elected chamber returns from a winter break on Jan. 27.

That's just more hot air from Singh. (people outside Canada don't realize how slow we move on things)

The effort to get the gov general of Canada involved seems to have fizzled.

The latest word is that Trudeau will prorogue (suspend) Parliament when they return at the end of January which would mean the earliest that Singh would have to follow thru on his empty threat is April or May at which point Singh gets his pension and has enough time for his left wing supporters to "forget" everything he did to stab Canada in the back.

Even if we get a non confidence vote to dissolve Parliament for elections in April, the Liberals under Trudeau will drag it out as long as possible (to allow a leadership campaign to replace Trudeau - and that will likely see a last ditch effort by Freeland to lead the party)

Elections won't be happening till the summer at the VERY EARLIEST and by the end of October if Trudeau can spin it out that long.

He and Singh are just gaming the system right now- Singh wants his pension Feb 25th, and Trudeau wants to have a decade in office under his nameplate and painting in Ottawa.

‘There’s No Alternative’: Over 50 MPs From His Own Liberal Party Call for Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau To Step Down Before Opposition Topples Him With No-Confidence Vote

We have written here at The Gateway Pundit about how Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is a ‘political escape artist’ who has survived many a grave crisis in his 9-year tenure in Ottawa.

But now, all indications seem to show that it’s ‘game over’ for the Globalist poster-boy, and it’s become a unanimous refrain among analysts that it’s not a question of ‘if’ he will fall, but ‘how’ and ‘when’.

To begin with, Trudeau leads a minority government, unstable by definition.

Add to that his relentless pushing for failed, crippling Globalist policies tanking his popularity levels, and you have a recipe for disaster for Trudeau, with his Liberals facing obliteration in the next election.

Sadly it's unlikely to be "game over" for Trudeau yet. Things don't operate that fast in Canada.

He's bought himself time over the holidays thanks to Singh who says he's not supporting Trudeau, except that by refusing to vote against him, he did.

Unless the Governor General steps in but she's a Trudeau appointee and it's a largely ceremonial position. She has the authority and the legal grounds to step in and call an election but Pierre Poilievre tried that option a week ago and there's been no sign of life out of her, so that appeal to the Crown has evaporated.

Trudeau has the authority to suspend Parliament when the holiday is over in 6 weeks.

He can then rule without opposition until Parliament has to be reconvened, and the earliest estimates if he suspends (prorogues) Parliament in 6 weeks is sometime in late March even as late as May.

Then even if he steps down, there has to be time for a leadership convention among the Liberals

so it's likely going to be a fall election. He and Singh are hoping everything will blow over and they timed everything to ensure Singh would NOT vote against Trudeau and bring in a Non Confidence motion.

Don't hold your breath for anything outside a miracle between now and the fall.

Unfortunately the American and much of the Canadian media believes Singh. Singh says he's torn up the deal between him and Trudeau, but every time a vote comes, he votes with Trudeau so he's just lying. The Canadian media is wising up to his double dealing but the rest of the world still hopes we can launch Trudeau out the airlock. We aren't the types to do a banana republic revolution or assassinate Trudeau so our vote will wait till Trudeau is forced by law to allow an election.

If it wasn't for those laws, he'd be in for life like his hero Castro.

Canada is infested and just elected this idiot shows that, but letting him continuing longer term in power proves the infestation only worsened.
