The universe, without a doubt, is the most incredible thing we’ve ever seen God create. We know it is impossible for the universe to have created itself because it is “impossible” for something to come from nothing. Only “something” can create something else. God is different because, no matter how hard it is for us to believe, God did not come from “something.” He is THE SOMETHING that has always existed and THE SOMETHING that created “everything.” Everything “visible” has a creator, whether it is the universe or a chair. The universe verifies only Creator God could create it.

There is so much information from the world and Christianity concerning the universe in terms of its existence, its size, its age, its inhabitants, etc. However, there is one question I’ve never seen anyone talk about – WHY did God create the universe in the first place? There is a definitive answer that most everyone agrees with.

Some of the information in this article comes from my book, God’s Plan for Heaven, Eternity and the Universe Explained.

Before we look at the universe, we have to look at eternity. Eternity is LIFE – ETERNAL LIFE. There is no annihilation death in eternity since that is where God dwells. God does not allow an annihilation type of death for “any” sentient being He creates. There is only a “separation from God type of death,” which is far worse. And what happens in eternity STAYS in eternity.

I like how God gives a very general list of thi gs on just how he maintains order and balance with his creation, what especially caught my eye in the book of Job is how he says that he has a shed of hail stored up for judgements and war (eep)

I remember one of the Creation Science people was talking about that verse and wondering if the comets are part of that storehouse of ice rocks.

Just on the book of Job as well, did Elihu cop a rebuke from God as well as Job's other friend's ?

I'm reading it but couldn't see God mentioning it when he finally responds to Job ?

If he's the youngest one speaking last, no he doesn't. There is one who does seem to speak God's wisdom in the situation but I can't remember what his name was.

Yeah you're referring to Elihu, he was the last one to speak and kind of seemed to know what he was talking about
