The Rapture Is Coming, The Rapture Is Coming! :: By Dale V. Nobbman

The Rapture is coming, the Rapture is coming! If you are a student of American history, this phrase may sound like the verbal warning announced to American colonists by patriots on horseback in April of 1775, spreading the urgent message that ‘the British are coming, the British are coming!

‘The Rapture is coming’ needs to be the urgent message spread by Christians to all the people of the world that Jesus Christ is coming one day soon for His Church (Christians), and people should be watching and preparing for His return. This important message is meant, in part, so that people everywhere may accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior before the coming Rapture in order that as many people as possible can avoid the terrible, terrible seven-year Great Tribulation period.

Until the Rapture takes place, there is still time for individuals around the world to believe in Jesus Christ and be spared from the worst time ever known to mankind on Earth. The ever-increasing frequency and intensity of the ‘signs of the time’ listed in the Bible seem to indicate that the Rapture, followed by the Great Tribulation, is fast approaching. Therefore, now is not the time to delay your decision for Christ. You don’t want to be around when all ‘hell’ breaks loose on Earth.

“I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and “the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). “But God proves His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). “If you confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart, you believe and are justified [in the sight of God], and with your mouth you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:9-10).

As horrible as the Tribulation years will be, they are a drop in the bucket in terms of time and eternity. Many who come to be saved during Tribulation may not have otherwise gotten saved.

I think the pre-eminent message to share is the gospel no matter where we are on the timeline. The idea of the Rapture being near should be exciting to all Believers. It's a shame that so many have errant views of these end times.
