This is my summery of the highlights of discussion.....
Good discussion on today's Inauguration of President Donald Trump with analysis on what we can expect as Bill Federer who is a Christian Historian that's studied on Bible history and Secular history both American and World History, and he goes over Biblical and Secular History doing a good job breaking down historical facts both biblical and Secular and how government always goes through cycles where history demonstrates that as Nations rise in power and prosperity they always fall because when God is within governance, power and prosperity will be found, but when God is not in the governance the Nations will fall.
We may see a turn for the better under the New Administration, but success will be determined by whether God is in the equation of the Administration's governance, and he points out that we as Christians continue in what we have been ordained to do, no matter where government takes the Nation.
He also points to biblical examples of how God's people would be the catalyst of keeping God in society and in part Christians should be an influence on our leaders.
He said it's not surprising when there's bad actors within a government and gives the example how Judas was within Jesus circle of followers so we should expect there will be enemies both on the outside and from within.
He also says in Trump turning to the elite businessmen like Musk and Bezos and Zuckerberg, what we are seeing is the businessman in Trump being strategic in using them to benefit the country to bring back the prosperity and lead in world power which Trump is keeping in MAGA nationalism and his interest in obtaining hold on Canada and Greenland and Mexico increases America's hold as a world power and ensures national security against China and Russia.
Bottom line is humanity cannot govern itself without God and will ultimately fail and is why we pray as Jesus taught for God's Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven.
