House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik on Tuesday urgedTreasury Secretary Scott Bessent to open a probe into funding for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) to ensure it is not funded by Hamas or other terrorist organizations.

Stefanik and Senate Republican Conference Chair Tom Cotton urged the investigation in a joint letter, accusing CAIR 's executive director of previously leading the Islamic Association for Palestine, which they claimed authorities have identified as a propaganda front for Hamas.

The Republicans also claimed CAIR's leadership attended a Philadelphia meeting of the Muslim Brotherhood Palestine Committee in 1993 where members discussed supporting Hamas, despite its label as a foreign terrorist organization.

"These foundational connections, coupled with CAIR's conduct following the October 7, 2023 terrorist attacks, merit renewed scrutiny," the lawmakers wrote. "CAIR has focused its efforts on supporting anti-Israel campus protests. While peaceful protest is protected, many of these demonstrations have led to incidents of antisemitic harassment and violence."

This news article here in Canada from late June this year, explores the multiple ways that CAIR, the muslim brotherhood and Qatar have infiltrated Canada. It's a long one, and Qatar lands at the end. But I would love it if this expose of CAIR opens up Huma Abedin- Hilary's help, Obama, and that other prominent muslim Obama employed. Muslim Brotherhood.

And that would lead to Qatar. The funding arm for Hamas.

Qatar offers safe passage and financing to Hamas leaders and has been a principal mediator between the Palestinian terror group and Israel to broker ceasefire talks. Concerns over the country’s foreign influence have gained momentum in America amid reporting that suggests Qatar has been the largest foreign donor to American universities since 1986, contributing more than $6 billion, mostly to elite colleges."

WINNIPEG — A comprehensive report released this week documents how the Muslim Brotherhood and the State of Qatar have built a multi-layered network of affiliated organizations across Canada over several decades.


The study, compiled by the Institute for Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, identifies at least a dozen national and provincial bodies linked to Brotherhood ideology. These include:

1. Muslim Association of Canada (MAC)
2. National Council of Canadian Muslims (formerly CAIR-CAN)
3. Islamic Relief Canada
4. Federation of Muslim Associations of Canada (Ontario)
5. Muslim Canadian Congress
6. Muslim Students’ Association chapters at McGill, Toronto, York, and Concordia
7. Canadian Federation of Muslim Women
8. Muslim Council of Montreal
9. Alberta Muslim Public Affairs Council
10. Saskatchewan Islamic Shia Council
11. Manitoba Islamic Association
12. New Brunswick Islamic Council.

Audit records obtained by Global News show Canada Revenue Agency probes into major charities, including the Muslim Association of Canada, over alleged ties to Hamas financiers. In one case, CRA auditors alleged that directors facilitated transfers to overseas Brotherhood-linked networks.


Qatar’s role extends beyond direct grants. Counter Extremism Project analysis notes that the Qatari government and its semi-official charity, Qatar Charity, channel funds to Brotherhood causes worldwide and provide platforms through Al Jazeera to promote Islamist narratives. A parliamentary committee report in the United Kingdom described Qatar Charity as “quasi-governmental” and central to the Brotherhood’s global financial network.
