Spain to grant legal status to migrants to stop the "far right"

Spain has begun a process to grant legal status and work rights to up to half a million undocumented migrants, a move the government has described as part of its efforts to defeat the so-called far right, according to The Telegraph.

The initiative formally started on Tuesday following a last-minute agreement between the ruling Socialist Party (PSOE) and its left-wing coalition partner, Podemos, which has supported Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s minority government since the 2023 general election.

A government spokesman said the policy was intended to counter political trends on the right, stating: “We not only intend to remain a beacon, but I want to believe that we will be a seed and a germ to fight against the advance of this far-Right wave that is trying to gain ground, and against which we will do everything in our power to stop it.”

Here you have Spain basically throwing away all their heritage and giving their nation to migrants just so the few in power remain in control. They claim the moved is to "help dismantle what it described as “institutional racism that only fuels exploitation and racist hatred.” The government has also framed the move as a political challenge to the right-wing Vox party, which has gained support in recent polling."

Governments betraying the trust of their citizens,Treason,is not unusual these days.

Bush41 in the U.S made that same style of mistake with regard to millions of illegals. And he was Republican,i.e. right wing.
He granted asylum to illegals. Big mistake. Rewarding illegal entry.

Which then,of course,opened the door for millions of more illegals heading into America. Because Bush41 sent the message illegal acts are rewarded in America.


I work in retail. Daily I see Hispanic people pay for their purchases with new crisp 100 dollar bills. After they've used SNAP (food stamps) and or WIC.
Their carts carry the most expensive food items. Steaks,seafood,lobster, shrimp, etc...

And the expression on the faces of elderly customers in line behind them is telling. There they are,worked all their lives,now on SS, and their cart has the cheaper food items,and never once steaks or lobster.

I served one family where there was a 25.00 cash balance due after SNAP paid the rest. The husband pulled out a wad of cash. 50's and 100's. He wanted to pay the balance.
I speak Spanish. The wife became angry and told her husband ,let Americans pay it. We don't owe them anything!

So,it ended with the items still to be paid for being removed from the bill.

Other immigrants have behaved the same way. If SNAP or WIC doesn't foot the bill,they refuse to pay anything out of pocket.

Strange times. But,not anything God hasn't warned us about.
