Significant Heart Disease Risk Can Be Detected from Routine Mammograms Using AI – Up to 70% Greater

Ghoti Ichthus

Genesis 18:32, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Acts 5:29
Need to ask about this at the Women's Clinic. Maybe they'll have it by the time it's time for my next screening if women start asking now (the VA is slow about women's health sometimes).

Significant Heart Disease Risk Can Be Detected from Routine Mammograms Using AI – Up to 70% Greater

"The risk of potentially deadly heart disease can be detected from routine mammograms using AI technology, a new study demonstrated.
By analyzing the build-up of calcium deposits in the arteries of the breast from standard X-ray mammography scans currently used in breast cancer screening, AI can estimate the risk of heart disease then and later in life.
“Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women worldwide, yet women are consistently underdiagnosed and undertreated compared to men,” said study leader Dr. Hari Trivedi from Emory University in the US. “Mammograms, which women already attend for breast cancer screening, can also reveal calcium deposits in breast arteries and this is linked to heart disease.”
“We wanted to test whether AI could use this to identify women at risk of cardiovascular disease at no extra cost or inconvenience.”"

FWIW the action of Vitamin K2 opposes the calcium deposition in the arteries, and can reduce the risk of heart attack in future.

And K2 needs to be taken with your D3 supplements, to make sure calcium does not build up where it shouldn't.

:amen:

I ended up with low Vitamin D, hyperparathyroidism, and osteoporosis . . .

1200 K2 (1000 MK4, 200 MK7) daily
1000 mg cal,1000 mg mag-198 mg potassium- 500 mg phosphorus daily
3000 IU D3 in multi daily
50,000 IU D2 weekly
5000 methyl B12 every third day

If nothing's changed since last dexa scan and blood work, bone loss still stopped and continuing to very slowly rebuild bone
NO BIGPharma . . .

Have to be careful with K2 if taking Eliquis, since K2 can thin the blood some (I think about to the same degree as ubiquinol, which I also take 600 mcg daily)
