Russian PM to meet Iran’s Pezeshkian in Tehran in wake of Nasrallah killing

MOSCOW, Russia — Russia announced Sunday that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will meet Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in Tehran on Monday.

The announcement came as Russia has condemned Israel’s “political murder” of Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group chief Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

Mishustin will hold talks with Pezeshkian and First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref, the government statement said.

“It is planned to discuss the full range of Russian-Iranian cooperation in the trade and economic and cultural and humanitarian spheres,” Russia said.

Russia has a real interest in the world attention on Israel vs Iran/Hezbollah etc right now. They are on Iran's side. Iran is supplying them with drones and missiles.

The more weapons need to pour into Israel the less there are for the Ukraine. And Russia's economy is tanking at the moment. They need a quick cheap win in the worst way.

"President Vladimir Putin warned the West on Wednesday that under proposed changes to the doctrine Russia could use nuclear arms if it was struck with conventional missiles and would consider any assault on it supported by a nuclear power to be a joint attack."

Instead of responding with nukes in case of being attacked by nukes, Russia is opening up a first strike option using nukes if it's hit with conventional missiles or if a nuclear power assists the Ukraine in it's attacks on Russia.

They are trying to get the west to back off from Ukraine any which way they can.

I agree. I am very pro-Israel. But, I recognize that the U.S. is against God. She cannot pass the laws protecting and enforcing the abominations she does and be Christian. We, the Christian U.S., have moved away from our God given foundation.

And we should be concerned. Because when we read about end time events in the Bible, the U.S. is not there. But, Russia is there. (Ezekiel 38-39) So, where did we go?

Somehow we were/are removed. My opinion.

My take is that Russia is still not ready to lob a bomb on the States. Too much blow back from the rest of the world and I think (not everyone agrees, and that's ok) that America is one of the young lions or cubs of Tarshish. Tarshish has been a subject of debate, but if it's England, then America is a daughter of sorts, and if it's Spain, then America is also a daughter of sorts.

A lot of good theologians on both sides, and some who say America doesn't qualify as a cub for either so it's not definitive.

I think the biggest likelihood is Russia using a small tactical nuke, one of the neutron type that don't have a lot of long lasting radiation - onto some parts of Ukraine to just end things. They don't particularly care enough about their army or their citizens to worry about side effects and collateral damage, just winning the war finally and making NATO back off.

But there are a lot of good people who see otherwise.

I hope that the removal of America is simply the same as God removed Britain from being Israel's protector when she reneged on the Balfour Declaration after WW1. She declined in world supremacy from being the biggest power to a lesser one over the 2 wars and by the post war period, America took her place.

As for punishing the sins of America, I think God will punish the world- there is a lot of bad stuff out there, not just in America. America has been a place (like England) who sent missionaries all over the globe (especially as the missions movement began to wane in Britain- another sign of her slide into obscurity). America is still officially an ally of Israel even if Biden and Obama have done everything they can to stab Israel in the back while pretending to befriend Israel for the sake of votes.

I hope it's the Rapture that takes the "stuffing" out of America so to speak. I think so but it's hard to say this side of the Rapture.
