I occasionally watch Browne's "Great Awakening" Services on TV. I enjoy the singing, but not Browne's preaching. He is faith plus works and legalistic. Anyone else watch him? Also, his services will sometimes have people fall when Browne simply waves his hand near their heads. Reminds me of Benny Hinn. Is this falling down mentioned in the Bible for the church?

No. But if you twist Matthew 17:6 and Revelation 1:17 out of context and paste in a little Daniel 8:17-18 and John 18:6 to bolster it, you can find enough to support this unbiblical practice. Now, I have seen people genuinely so overcome by the power of God that they have fallen to the ground, some of them totally out. It can happen. But these occasions have been rare. Far more often I have seen people drop to the ground because they think it is expected or the preacher pushes them until they fall.

@Set Free I am saying this for anyone else out there who may be reading this thread.

Stay away from him. He gets into your head and then demands people’s money.

I heard a lady “testify” years ago how she gave his “ministry” six figures - basically, her life savings! The Lord has blessed her with all the good parking spaces since then.

Think about it: What else do you see this guy doing in his “ministry” except for being on stage, waving his hand over people?

Complete wolf.

@Set Free Look on YouTube and maybe you can find just the music alone.

I am well-seasoned against false teachers like Browne; that's why I posted this as a red flag. I think that a lot of these people in his church are sincere, but their Charismatic/Pentacostal beliefs and its legalism is all they
have been exposed to, they are brainwashed. Hillsong worship songs is the same. Along with some wonderful songs, behind this, the singers have to go along with Hillsong ministries' Charismatic/Pentacostal legalism, same with Browne's church. The scary part is all this is a big influence on youth movements. I got so turned off I don't even listen to their worship songs anymore.
My mother-in-law, who was saved and now in Heaven, at one point was forking over a lot of money she needed to Jimmy Swaggart. Fortunately, she started going to a Baptist church where she got saved and got away from Swaggart and his "we got to have your seed money!"
