RFK Jr.-led CDC kills flu shot campaign, cancels major vaccination conference

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention killed a campaign promoting seasonal flu shots and canceled a major conference with virus experts just days after outspoken vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. became the nation’s top health official.

Under Kennedy’s leadership, the CDC pulled the plug on its “Wild to Mild initiative” — which was aimed at encouraging high-risk folks to get vaxxed — Wednesday as one of worst flu seasons in decades rages, NPR reported.

The ads used animals as an analogy for the lowered threat of a the flu virus once a person is vaccinated — using the image of a kitten versus a lion.

From what it seems like at this point, its like we get to see a very unique blend of how things will definitely lean into healthier (perhaps like not seen in our lifetimes) American vibes and direction (and the world getting into too), what seems to me a providential thing. AND, the clumsy fallen sometimes obnoxious, sometimes geeky, and sometimes maybe even embarrassing but very human raw and real totally imperfect sin ridden attempt and good faith helping each other out. Just thinking about that blend brings to mind like several diamonds clustered together but being able to see many diverse prisms all from one vantage point simultaneously. Like we an oyster trying to work out a pearl. And to have seen all we did with Tranny Library reading hour, to men competing in women's sports, to the Bible being hate speech in parts of the world, to censorship being a social norm, to pearl production is quite a marvelous sight to see the history of humanity fair out as. Especially after 4 years of a Biden Admin having many certain guillotines being rolled out as perhaps the only outcome likely in our day. But God. Blessings.
