A dedicated prayer room for Muslims has reportedly been opened inside the 500-year-old Vatican Apostolic Library in Rome after a plea for the separate, carpeted space was made by visiting Islamic scholars.

The Catholic Herald reports Fr Giacomo Cardinali, Vice Prefect, said in an interview with the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that Muslim academics had requested an area in which to pray, and the library had agreed. “Some Muslim scholars have asked us for a room with a carpet for praying and we have given it to them,” he said.

In the interview, Cardinali referred to the library’s modern collections: about 80,000 manuscripts, 50,000 archival items, nearly two million printed books, and hundreds of thousands of coins, medals, engravings, and prints.

The Pope might as well turn over the keys to the vatican to the islamists. That's probably the endgame in this for the islamists.

The RCC, with its veneer of Christianity over a completely non-Christian (in places even anti-Christian) core, reminds me of what Jesus said to the Pharisees in Matthew 23:27-28, "You are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people's bones and all uncleanness."

it is DANGEROUS to do that, because it feeds into the Muslim conquest of the world - any territory ceded by the infidels is MUSLIM TERRITORY to be defended to the death and even if it goes back to the "infidel" it is a holy obligation to regain that territory.

That is why giving any land to Muslims in any nation is dangerous.

It is why the muslims demanded to be able to build a mosque on top of or nearby the 911 site. They gave a lot of nice excuses, but it's that rule of theirs that drove them.

It's why the muslims built their dome of the rock on top of the Temple Mount. Long before they came up with the idea that Mohammed went to heaven on that spot. It's NOT mentioned once in the Koran, yet they have several "holy" to them sites on that place.
