This one fascinates me. Its somewhat old news by now. It seems to have been removed. But it was clear the language to not fund states that boycott Israel had been added recently. Any thoughts on what that was all about? lol
One theory is that perhaps this was put into the language by sleeper insurgent holdovers from Mayorkas stew. Like trying to make Trump look treasonist. However...I kind of go a whole other bananas direction...lol...
From my perspective, the way I look at things like this is a bit differently than how we might look at things politically. I tend to see something like this as somewhat of an Eschatological General Revlation (as opposed to "special revelation" -- that which is observable in generic nature: this being the generic nature of our current political eco system trends) Hieroglyphs override. On other words, possible signature's of God's eschatological themes placed on storyboard backboard political theatrics. Yes, by the way, yeah...kind of in a frisky mood this morning...lol. But what I describe is an expanded notion way to perhaps express this thought: That God would allow eschatological themes to louden in progressive political theater as a means of informing generically perhaps those who are not believers. Providing helpful context "hintage" even to those who don't believe.
So in this case, what that might look like is the following: Even in watcher wide-awake evangelicalism, the idea that America is not in biblical prophecy is almost canon at this point. The Bible seems to be silent on that. But we know Isreael is central to biblical prophecy unofolding. So "one way" and "one sense" we share as the human race, creations in His image, we can "practice "discerning" where America might or might not fall within prophetic bounds might be to the degree we ride Israel's coattails. That in and of itself does not guarantee American presence in eschatology. But one thing it "has to do." To the extent America is a long for the Israeli ride as she falls into prophetic place, one thing is clear, that presence of America in relation to Israeli prophetic significance "if discerned by how hogtied she is too Israel" would seem to in places almost be inseperable. In that sense, I think the challenge is actually the other way around.
I believe the right approach is the heavily taxing venture of trying to walk this back: America likely is in prophecy because of how intricately linked God has seemed to have placed her political in respect to all things Israel related in end times. I believe the homework is in how might it be possible to walk America back from being in the epicenter of prophesy. Yet this is not the starting place. Nor is it even much of a place to consider at all much, from what I have gathered. But to me, it just seems that America is so jammed up into all things Israel these days, it would seem to rise to the level of if we could even walk America back from Israeli venture share in potential eschatology share to some great degree perhaps or another.
But since the above is likely a generic modern day blindspot potentially...even the sociological rocks "perhaps" cry this out. That America is in biblical prophecy to the extent she is inseperable from Israel. And I don't mean that at all in a replacement theological sense. I just mean that in a "tied to Israel as conjoined at the hip twin like" fashion. And perhaps where the watcher world may not be so bold, lol, it seems Trump might just help himself to that safari, lol, like kind of all over the place, no? lol.
