Rapture Theory
How will the Rapture be explained to those who are left behind? Of course no one knows, but there are many theories. The most popular theory seems to be related to alien abduction. Most of the theories I am aware of though have no good explanation as to why all the children are taken away. Well I have a new theory, at least I have not heard it before anyway.
True Bible believing Christians like us are considered to be radical bigots and the cause of division. We will be considered more and more to be the cause of all the hatred and wars going on in the world. As Satan has no problem with people believing in a God as long as Jesus Christ is not mentioned, I think that the story will be that God removed all the radical, bigoted Christians. He did this so that the tolerant, reasonable, peace loving people left behind can bring peace to the world.
So then what about the children? Why were all the children taken away by God? Because the world is so bad that the children have been temporally removed so they won’t have to suffer. After the world is peaceful and restored the children will be returned.
So here is how it plays out. Millions of Christians all over the world disappear. Everyone is in shock and very fearful wondering what is going on. Those who have children are even more upset that their kids are missing! There is wide spread panic and mayhem. Where do they go for answers? The news where else! There is a special news bulletin stating that ?????? (The antichrist) will be speaking to the world in one hour. After the hour is passed everyone is glued to the TV. More so than at the OJ verdict! (OK a little humor). Here is what ?????? (The antichrist) says.
“I know you are in panic and fearful as to what has happened. Fear not, as God has everything under control. God could not and would not let things continue in the current state as the world would be destroyed. As he has done in times past, God has removed the evil bigoted ones from the earth so that we who remain can make peace and restore the world as it should be. Do not fear for your children for they are safe. God has removed the innocent children, so that they no longer have to live in this world filled with war and hatred. As soon as we bring about peace and restore the world as it should be, God will return your children.”
Now if you were still here wouldn’t you want to believe that? To believe that you were one of the “good ones” left behind? To believe that your children will be returned to you? Your need to believe it would most likely override any logical challenge to what was stated. As long as you believe this, life makes sense again and you need for life to make sense. I’m not saying that this will be the explanation, just making the point that a seemingly plausible explanation will be offered to those eager to receive it.
