Question about email notifications

Since I have been with CCF
I have always received my notifications on my primary email.
But today it showed up under
Promotions.
Is this Google mail doing this and if so how can I fix it?
I have gone to change it manually by forwarding the email to Primary but if this continues to happen that my notifications keep going into Promotions I don't know what to do about it.
Any thoughts to help?

I am not given an option to tag it not spam.
The options are to "Move to... " And there's nothing to tag it as not spam there, only to move to spam, or others like saved files and primary etc

Maybe move it to your in-box (primary?)
Maybe move a couple of them to your in-box to teach the AI

That's what I do when my email goes to the wrong place but they always keep going to Promotions.
Oh well I guess I have to just keep checking for my emails that I expect to be in my Primary email.
