Proof of Eternal Security, quotes, or verses

Some believe you can lose your salvation because of sins - read the below quote from Stanley using his logic to dispel that myth.

If God’s holiness compels Him to take back the gift of eternal security from certain believers because
of their sin, one of two things is true: Either God compromises His holiness for a time-through their small sins, or mans
good works can meet God’s requirements for holiness, at least for a short period of time. In that case, Jesus died needlessly.

Charles Stanley

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. John 10:27-29

For‭ I am persuaded‭‭, that‭ neither‭ death‭, nor‭ life‭, nor‭ angels‭,
nor‭ principalities‭, nor‭ powers‭, nor‭ things present‭‭, nor‭ things to come‭‭,‭
‭Nor‭ height‭, nor‭ depth‭, nor‭ any‭ other‭ creature‭,
shall be able‭‭ to separate‭‭ us‭ from‭ the love‭ of God‭,
which is in‭ Christ‭ Jesus‭ our‭ Lord‭.

Romans 8:38,39

John 10:28-29

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

Never will I leave you, and never will I forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5b; Deuteronomy 31:6b)

The Greek here is emphatic: "No not will I at any time let go of you nor no not will I at any time forsake (desert or abandon) you." In other words, at no point in time will He ever either physically leave us alone or turn His heart away from us. What a promise! What security!

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9

Romans 11:29

Absolutely! The Greek word translated irrevocable literally means "not repented of" or "not regretted". In ancient usage it conveyed the idea of something that was final and decisive and not at all subject to change. The idea is that God will NEVER change His mind about anyone He has saved.
