tying this thread in my mind with this other one on the invasion of Canada
Canada prepares for potential US military invasion
And my conclusion is that Davos and the WEF want a technocratic base of operations in North America, complete with financial stability for the time being while they get Europe ready for the future. That eliminates the need for active warfare with Canada and paves the way for Mark Carney to roll over and play dead when the time comes.
I'll shut up now, and go get to the gym or the grocery or do anything that lets me stop looking too closely at this rather unpleasant pattern and possible outcome.
Whatever happens, God is in control.
@Spartan Sprinter thoughts?
You just triggered my memory from a video i watched last night.
I think this was a guest of Patrick Bet David but i recall the guest saying that Greenland could be a good military strategic point as they can monitor Russia more closely.

The 2.24 mark is the bit that goes into the explanation about Trump's strategy

Let's go to the next story. So Trump
0:01
announces tariffs on Denmark and seven
0:03
other European nations over opposition
0:06
to acquiring Greenland. And this is this
0:10
is not pretty what's happening next. So
0:11
we we we're going to see what's going to
0:13
happen here. But Rob, if you want to
0:15
play this because then I want to go to
0:16
the next story on how EU reacts to this.
0:18
Go ahead.
0:20
Uh, I'm the tariff king and the tariff
0:22
king has done a great job and I hope we
0:24
win the Supreme Court case because if we
0:26
don't uh be a shame for our country, be
0:30
a shame. We have we have a great, safe,
0:32
beautiful country now. We're doing
0:34
better than we've ever done. We hit 42
0:37
stock market highs during the 11-month
0:39
period that I've been here. It's never
0:40
there's never been anything like it.
0:42
Stock markets hitting a new high again
0:43
today.
0:45
Okay, so just so you know, he announced
0:47
Saturday he will announce a 10% tariff
0:50
on eight European nations for their
0:53
opposition to America acquiring the
0:56
territory, which we're talking about
0:58
Greenland. And then here they are
1:00
responding. EU readies $93 billion
1:04
tariffs in retaliation for Trump's
1:06
Greenland threat. And Tom, I'm going to
1:09
come to you with this one here. Um,
1:13
EU capitals are considering hitting the
1:15
US with $93 billion worth of tariffs or
1:17
restricting American companies from
1:19
black markets in response to Trump's
1:20
threat to NATO allies uh opposed to his
1:24
campaign to take over Greenland. Futures
1:26
point to the Euro stocks 50 index
1:29
opening 1 and a.5% lower on Monday while
1:32
gold rose as much as 2% to a record high
1:35
46.90. Trump, who has demanded
1:37
permission from Denmark to take control
1:39
of Greenland on Saturday evening, vowed
1:42
to impose 10% tariff by February 1st on
1:45
goods from UK, Norway, and six EU
1:48
countries that sent troops to the Arabic
1:50
island for a military exercise this
1:53
week, Tom.
1:54
So, here's what's going on. Um,
1:58
Greenland is strategically important.
2:01
The UK knows it. Germany knows it.
2:05
Because if you go, and I'm going to
2:07
mispronounce this, on the map, you go to
2:09
Merman, which is up on right on the
2:12
other side of Finland. Right on the
2:14
other side, that's where Russia has all
2:17
of its nuclear subs. And that's where it
2:18
deploys its subs to the Arctic, into
2:21
Hudson Bay, into all kinds of places,
2:24
which is strategically
2:26
really freaking important, right on the
2:29
edge of Finland. And if you then go just
2:32
down the street a little bit, you end up
2:35
and you find oh Iceland, Greenland, that
2:39
is an important corridor. Greenland last
2:42
year, what was it called? Operation
2:44
Arctic Frost. It was a military exercise
2:47
that happened uh March of last year and
2:49
October of last year. There were two.
2:51
And they
2:54
held these these military exercises on
2:57
the coast of Greenland. Why? So we can
2:59
monitor Russian subs and we can monitor
3:01
what Russia was doing up there now that
3:03
they've, you know, we've seen what war
3:06
won't stop in the Ukraine. And guess
3:08
what? The UK said this is a problem. And
3:12
Germany said this is a problem. So NATO
3:15
is saying, Pat, we have a problem here
