Prime Minister of Greenland Warns Population to Prepare for a Possible US Military Invasion

Greenland is on red alert.

It’s expected that US President Donald J. Trump will meet with an array of European leaders tomorrow (21) in Davos, Switzerland, to address the most urgent geopolitical question of our times: the US’s move to take over the Arctic Island of Greenland.

Among the leaders expected to be present, the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and her Greenlander counterpart Jens-Frederik Nielsen, who is NOT waiting for any meeting to start preparing for the ‘worst’.

Nielsen has told the Arctic island’s population and its authorities to ‘start preparing for a possible military invasion’.

Greenland will form a task force to deal with disruptions to daily life, the PM said.

This seems to be in line with Trump's social media and other forms of communication as seen here in NBC Trump shares texts from leaders and vows 'no going back' on Greenland

""I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland."

That's what French President Emmanuel Macron told President Donald Trump, in a private message shared online by the American leader.

The message, posted overnight on Truth Social, was part of a flurry of activity as Trump insisted there was "no going back" in his campaign to seize the semi-autonomous Danish territory. He also posted a text from the head of NATO, accused Britain of "stupidity," and shared what appeared to be images generated by artificial intelligence depicting the American flag over Greenland and Canada.

But Trump did add a glimmer of diplomacy, announcing he would meet with “various parties” about Greenland on the sidelines of this week's World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Trump promised the event would be “very interesting,” telling reporters late Monday he did not expect his European allies to “push back too much” on his Greenland ambitions. In a brief telephone interview with NBC News earlier, Trump wouldn’t say whether he would use force to seize the Arctic island
."

Well I agree with Trump on one thing, this will make Davos "very interesting" as he puts it. NO KIDDING!

No doubt this will get everyone at Davos in an uproar. That has it's benefits.

Did I mention I think the man does a very good impersonation of a wrecking ball!?

Whatever else they hoped to get done at Davos, will be sidelined in the panicky impromptu meetings to try and calm the American hurricane down.

And that will slow the WEF down on their roll towards various globalist projects designed to make the ordinary people of the world wish they'd never been born.

But I'm hoping and praying he doesn't invade Greenland!

To do this willingly to a friend, a country that willingly hosts that airbase for the States, a country that did nothing to deserve this just shows where things are heading and how fast.

Surely the military can be put to better use.

Russia will enjoy it though. Takes the heat off them for their moral failure invading Ukraine, their former ally and friend.

I've noticed that something always seems to happen after these types of meetings.

ONe thing i've noticed as a pattern that pretty much since COIV, something significant always seems to occur in January

I think you are right about a January pattern.

Davos is the WEF and it's always in January, and its always about world leaders and their underlings, coordinating their actions towards a set of goals. Economics and geo politics.

Started by Klaus Schwab, it is the World Economic Forum in action.

The planning stages of anything are probably years in advance, but the final touches occur just before stuff gets unleashed.

This was from the middle of the Reuters press thing: Europe's leaders stand firm in Davos as CEOs warn on emotions

"Without referring directly to Trump, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen highlighted a need to respond to seismic shifts in the world and said the speed and scale of change had driven a consensus in Europe on independence.

"It is time to seize this opportunity and build a new independent Europe," she said in a speech.
"

They are ready for this "opportunity"

OKAY so something you said there stuck with me, beyond the usual pattern.

Adding 2 established patterns together actually. Because the news this morning was saying something about Trump backing off a bit and then I remembered.

Trump's pattern! Go in like a wrecking ball, allow a lot of chaos, then back off slightly while picking up a LOT of spoils that he wouldn't otherwise have been able to grab. Keeping his long term goal of acquiring Greenland and Canada in place. Softening things up a bit in advance.

I haven't even gone to find the news source, but I'm on here early because that makes sense.

Davos wins, and Trump wins. Both patterns together.

They were COUNTING on him creating that chaos, that threat against Greenland. Which suddenly reminds me they aren't above goading him into it ---- just like the whole invasion of Ukraine by Russia which was a carefully calculated series of goads aimed at Russia over a period of time. (Putin ALREADY had that in mind, they just pushed it along in the way that would provide maximum gain for their goals.)

It's the same pattern. Davos, Ursula's quote above, proves they were hoping to use this "opportunity" as she put it.

AND

Trump WILL get something out of this, whatever it is that he is after. Haven't figured that out, because it doesn't matter. It'll show up, the important part is that he is running in his usual pattern. His long term goal is still the same- pull together a North American union that America controls.

And the wrecking ball continues to wreck the established world order that's been in place since WW2 and needs to be removed in order for Rome 2.0 to emerge.

And God allows it.

Hmmmmmm

Okay that is making a LOT of sense to me this morning, but I might be dead wrong, because I only saw the one news article pop up on a banner on my iPhone, and I haven't checked it out.

I'm totally jumping to conclusions today, so everybody just ignore me here. Your mileage may vary. I'm really only talking about pattern recognition here to Shawn who also sees a pattern.

BUT THIS FITS THE 2 PATTERNS I'M LOOKING AT! BOTH of them! AND it lines up with Ursula Von der Leyen's hopes and dreams for building "a new independent Europe" aka Rome 2.0

U.S. President Donald Trump repeatedly turned to the issue of Greenland in a lengthy speech at the World Economic Forum, saying the 'big, beautiful piece of ice' is key to U.S. national security. (Excerpts from Jan. 21, 2026, Davos speech)

The Latest

  • U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, today, expressing his desire for control of Greenland and criticizing Europe and Canada.
  • Trump said he was seeking immediate negotiations to acquire Greenland, which he called a "very small ask" for "a piece of ice."
  • Trump said Canada should be grateful and that Prime Minister Mark Carney wasn't grateful in his speech at Davos yesterday: "Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that, Mark, the next time you make your statements."
  • Trump also referenced Canada's auto industry trouble, despite U.S. data showing a contraction in auto industry jobs south of the border.

tying this thread in my mind with this other one on the invasion of Canada Canada prepares for potential US military invasion
The fact that Mark Carney (mark of the flesh is the way I see his name) IS a faithful supporter of the whole WEF agenda at Davos, whose election seemed to flip from certain loss to sudden overwhelming win needs to be in the equation.

That pattern looks like the same manipulators at Davos who DO provoke Trump into some actions- wanted Trump and his threats to Canada and Greenland both now and back in the spring with Tariffs and the Canadian elections. That pattern definitely set Carney in charge in Canada. Suggests that this was the point of it all.

That pattern suggests that we are already sold by Davos to the USA, it is just a matter of time. They are using this situation right now

but God

is allowing it, therefore no matter how improbable it seems at the moment

this takeover will be allowed to take place. I hope peaceably.

Looking at the long term agenda of Davos and the WEF, I think they want the technocrats- the Microsoft, Apple, Nvidia, Black Rock and others to maintain a power base in North America. A protracted Ukraine scenario would interfere with the tech running the planet for the AC later in the Trib. And the financial base intact in the States.

My conclusion, sad as it is, Mark Carney will fold under pressure, doing exactly what the people at the WEF have planned. Meanwhile this provides the "opportunity" as Ursula Von der Leyen said yesterday at Davos for a new Europe to emerge.

Just me thinking out loud here.

And my conclusion is that Davos and the WEF want a technocratic base of operations in North America, complete with financial stability for the time being while they get Europe ready for the future. That eliminates the need for active warfare with Canada and paves the way for Mark Carney to roll over and play dead when the time comes.

I'll shut up now, and go get to the gym or the grocery or do anything that lets me stop looking too closely at this rather unpleasant pattern and possible outcome.

Whatever happens, God is in control.

Now you got me excited !!

LOL queue the tell me more song from the Grease movie.

Yeah i think you're right , you can't tell us Macron and his Euro centric mates aren't oblivious to the whole of Europe unwittingly coming together due to Trump's actions.

and just a few verbal threats as well from Trump or tweets on his platforms causes chaos on the stockmarkets each time, maybe he had to scale back his Greenland comments to help the market recover after it lost trillions ?

Every single time that the market has fallen and wobbled back up, there are people who make a LOT of money. Not to put too fine a point on it, but who benefits??? People like Black Rock (they closed UP today) and they are into BitCoin or whatever that stuff is. I DON'T understand that fake money stuff BUT there's been a bunch of these moments on the markets, usually triggered by the wrecking ball himself. NVidia is another winner today. Because if you know in advance what the market will do, and sell high, ride the bottom, buy low and ride the climb, you make a very good profit.

It'd be interesting to look at all the technocracy people and track what they've been up to on the markets today as things stabilized. Not that I'm going to. Waste of time really. I think it fits the general Davos pattern. Provoke a response, prepare in advance, clean up when the response comes.

Davos is after all the World ECONOMIC forum.

You just triggered my memory from a video i watched last night.

I think this was a guest of Patrick Bet David but i recall the guest saying that Greenland could be a good military strategic point as they can monitor Russia more closely.

The 2.24 mark is the bit that goes into the explanation about Trump's strategy

Let's go to the next story. So Trump
0:01
announces tariffs on Denmark and seven
0:03
other European nations over opposition
0:06
to acquiring Greenland. And this is this
0:10
is not pretty what's happening next. So
0:11
we we we're going to see what's going to
0:13
happen here. But Rob, if you want to
0:15
play this because then I want to go to
0:16
the next story on how EU reacts to this.
0:18
Go ahead.
0:20
Uh, I'm the tariff king and the tariff
0:22
king has done a great job and I hope we
0:24
win the Supreme Court case because if we
0:26
don't uh be a shame for our country, be
0:30
a shame. We have we have a great, safe,
0:32
beautiful country now. We're doing
0:34
better than we've ever done. We hit 42
0:37
stock market highs during the 11-month
0:39
period that I've been here. It's never
0:40
there's never been anything like it.
0:42
Stock markets hitting a new high again
0:43
today.
0:45
Okay, so just so you know, he announced
0:47
Saturday he will announce a 10% tariff
0:50
on eight European nations for their
0:53
opposition to America acquiring the
0:56
territory, which we're talking about
0:58
Greenland. And then here they are
1:00
responding. EU readies $93 billion
1:04
tariffs in retaliation for Trump's
1:06
Greenland threat. And Tom, I'm going to
1:09
come to you with this one here. Um,
1:13
EU capitals are considering hitting the
1:15
US with $93 billion worth of tariffs or
1:17
restricting American companies from
1:19
black markets in response to Trump's
1:20
threat to NATO allies uh opposed to his
1:24
campaign to take over Greenland. Futures
1:26
point to the Euro stocks 50 index
1:29
opening 1 and a.5% lower on Monday while
1:32
gold rose as much as 2% to a record high
1:35
46.90. Trump, who has demanded
1:37
permission from Denmark to take control
1:39
of Greenland on Saturday evening, vowed
1:42
to impose 10% tariff by February 1st on
1:45
goods from UK, Norway, and six EU
1:48
countries that sent troops to the Arabic
1:50
island for a military exercise this
1:53
week, Tom.
1:54
So, here's what's going on. Um,
1:58
Greenland is strategically important.
2:01
The UK knows it. Germany knows it.
2:05
Because if you go, and I'm going to
2:07
mispronounce this, on the map, you go to
2:09
Merman, which is up on right on the
2:12
other side of Finland. Right on the
2:14
other side, that's where Russia has all
2:17
of its nuclear subs. And that's where it
2:18
deploys its subs to the Arctic, into
2:21
Hudson Bay, into all kinds of places,
2:24
which is strategically
2:26
really freaking important, right on the
2:29
edge of Finland. And if you then go just
2:32
down the street a little bit, you end up
2:35
and you find oh Iceland, Greenland, that
2:39
is an important corridor. Greenland last
2:42
year, what was it called? Operation
2:44
Arctic Frost. It was a military exercise
2:47
that happened uh March of last year and
2:49
October of last year. There were two.
2:51
And they
2:54
held these these military exercises on
2:57
the coast of Greenland. Why? So we can
2:59
monitor Russian subs and we can monitor
3:01
what Russia was doing up there now that
3:03
they've, you know, we've seen what war
3:06
won't stop in the Ukraine. And guess
3:08
what? The UK said this is a problem. And
3:12
Germany said this is a problem. So NATO
3:15
is saying, Pat, we have a problem here

@Spartan Sprinter

Yes to the strategic importance, of Greenland to the US, that has always been there. Especially for the path missiles from Russia would take to get to the eastern seaboard of the US where Washington sits. Early warning. That's the purpose of the base there.

The Submarine stuff hasn't changed. The ports for Russia up on the north coast of Finland and Norway (Murmansk) out to the Arctic as well as the port by St Petersburg onto the Baltic have always been the point closest to the US east coast. The Russians had a dreadful accident up there with something they were experimenting with a few years back (when we were all on that other forum) that released a nuclear cloud of radiation. They denied a lot of stuff but it was part of their R&D sub program. I forget exactly what they were up to (or thought to be up to).

It's interesting watching these guys sketch out the planned purchase type takeover of Greenland by the US with the permission of Germany and the UK as they explain it. Germany would "persuade" their neighbour Denmark, (and Britain would eventually no doubt "persuade" Canada to give up both countries) one after the other to improve the US security situation.

Because Europe can't afford it's own army just yet. And Europe is nervous.

Which says that Davos/WEF is betting on Europe down the road a little and betting on their tentacles of control in Washington and Wall Street for just a bit longer while that longer term plan to place Europe in charge takes shape.

I found it funny how Trump's sorting of trying to hint to the other NATO leaders that he expects them to unite and take more ownership whereas the NAto leaders have just instantly thrown their toys out of the cot not realising what Trump is trying to hint to them LOL

Check out @Tall Timbers post #69 on this thread Denmark Prime Minister: ‘The US Has No Right to Annex’ Greenland

It was a NATO thing all along. Rutte gave away Greenland. To keep NATO in place for a little bit longer!!!
