Newly reviewed files and reporting show Crown Princess Mette‑Marit exchanged hundreds of emails with Jeffrey Epstein between 2011 and 2014.
The Royal Court said she ended contact in 2014, and she issued a public apology, calling her judgment poor.
Norwegian media have also documented Jagland’s communication with Epstein while Jagland was Council of Europe secretary general and a member of the Nobel Committee, including a June 24, 2018, email in which Epstein proposed contact to Putin via Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
